Horrible landlord. Tries to fix everything himself, and he's not a talented handyman We had sewage problems for most of the time we lived there. Our basement would over flow with sewage and he would show up clean it up and snake it and it would work ok for another month or so then we would have the same problem. I had to beg him to have a professional come look at it and when they did we never had that problem again. Our toilet also leaked so much that the floor was spongy and it smelled horrible in our bathroom. He said he would have to come redo the entire floor of the bathroom but he never did. He kept telling us he would fix it and every time we would ask he would push it out. I'm guessing the toilet was like that when we moved in because it always smelled in that bathroom the whole time we lived there. I'm guessing the current residents still have an unsanitary bathroom. He did very little when it came to being a landlord, he would show up alleviate the symptom and let the disease continue. If this was his own place of living he would not have lived in such conditions. I asked him to change the locks because the neighborhood we lived in wasn't the greatest and the door looked like it had been kicked in. The lock wouldn't line up and when you tried lock it, it would usually fall back down rendering it useless. When we finally moved out we were charged with an extra month of electricity. He had told the new tenants to start their new billing cycle with the electric company but failed to mention to us that we needed to cancel or we would be charged with a bill. He also took more than I have ever been charged from any landlord from the security deposit. I would like to think that he at least took this money and put it into the house but I'm sure it went right into his pocket.Great place to live if you like unsanitary conditions, and a dead beat landlord.
