    Everything had run smoothly with getting reimbursed in 2021 using the Further app. I always got an Explanation of Processing which told me if our claims had been accepted or denied. However, my husband had to end his employment due to health issues so I had to submit his claims before the 2 month post employment deadline. I submitted a claim through the app again and continued taking care of my husband, figuring I'd have money in our account soon. When I didn't see anything in my account, I contacted Further and asked where the claim stood. They informed me that I had given them a claim with a date outside his employment period and no other claims could be filed since it was past the 2 month period. I told them I could have put other claims in by the due date if I had been informed, as I had been in the past, of the denial and reason. They recommended that I file an appeal. I did so and the representative worked with me and it sounded like they were going to reimburse but then I got an email where they said they denied the claim, no further claims could be filed because I missed the deadline, and our monies were thus forfeited. When I asked for the policy in writing of having to have claims submitted within a 2 month period after employment ends and asked them what else I could do since it was largely their fault that I missed the deadline(they didn't follow their own Explanation of Processing policy, the communications ended. They haven't responded to any of my emails since.
