  I am very happy with Alan and his crew. There were a number of things that needed fixing at my house, and they did so creatively using out-of-the box thinking, which was appreciated. Additionally there were several extra things that popped up and they handled them with little extra expense. Rain caused the project to go on longer than anticipated, but it all got done within the deadline. I am planning on having them do more work next year. They are not type A people, but that was appreciated by this retiree.

  Easy to work with. Reasonably priced. The project was a rental property and we really appreciated the observations of work that needs to be addressed in the future, things we might have missed on a "rental inspection" walk through.

  If I could give a 0 rating I would. I’m warning anyone contemplating hire Alan and his cast of characters, don’t walk, run away. They do shoddy work at best. They are totally unreliable and to be very frank, they are not smart nor skilled in construction/remodeling business. They tried to remodel my bathroom, and it was a disaster from billing for work they didn’t do to telling me after the fact, that they never did this type of work before. OMG are you kidding me? I wish I could load picture of their mess. After $14k later we had to cut the chord. Now my husband an I are left with a bathroom we do t want to use! How the heck did they ever get listed on the BBB site is beyond me. Run away as fast as you can! If you are interested in seeing the pics of their awful work, please respond to my review and I will co tact the BBB to see if it’s possible.

  Anne Marie, I am sorry you are unhappy with how your bathroom turned out. I have done multiple bathrooms over the years. This bathroom should have been straight forward. However, I did communicate regularly. First problem was that there was to be a 36 inch shower, however when I measured the European shower purchased by you it was 34 inches. I had custom ordered a 36 inch shower base, so I needed to modify a foam shower base. In addition, It was also difficult from our point of view because you changed your mind on how you wanted things done from start to finish. One glaring example is that the floor had just been grouted when you let me know you didn’t like it. The end result was to take up about 25% of the tile (which was to be under the bathtub) and replace with a different tile. I believe the bathroom turned out nice. The only thing I was not happy with was the shower base and the European glass walls.
