I am rejecting this response because: I want assurance that I can file an insurance claim to remedy the damage caused by All Star.

m of the heat duct at each vent so the water could drain. He drilled holes in my heating duct, which did not drain the water.I got a few estimates from other HVAC businesses, and learned that the only way to fix the problem is to fill in the in floor duct with cement, and install new ducts in my walls, at a cost of $2,520. I asked **** to open up a claim on All **************** to cover this cost, and he told me that the wording of their contract needed to be updated. I told **** that I am concerned that his team performed a shoddy "repair" on my duct that is not within their scope, and he told me that he would talk to his boss.I would like assurance that the recommended repair will be covered under their insurance, and I would hope that their team receives training to work within their scope of licensing. I am including photos of the water issue before and 1 week after **** drilled holes in the duct.

On June 28th, 2022, All-Star Basements installed a drain tile and sump system at ************************** residence located at ****************************************************************  As ********************** has concrete ductwork in her basement floor system around the perimeter of her basement, the drain tile system had to be installed adjacent to her ductwork.  I explained to her when I met with her on June 20th that we would do our best to leave the ductwork intact and at minimum operational, but could not guarantee that we wouldn't hit it based on the proximity of our drain tile line to the ductwork we were going to be installing.  One of our crew members did hit the concrete duct and we repaired it to restore functionality.  Additionally, I returned to her residence on April 7th, ***************************************************************************************************************** her ductwork.  The source of this water is unknown, but in our experience in this particular area of *****, many residences get water in their sub-floor ducts.  I am sorry to hear that ********************** was unhappy with the services we provided her.  We at All-Star Basements continually strive to satisfy every customer and is their is anything we can do further for you ********************** you have my number I would be happy speak with you.
