    Contracted in summer of 2021 to have 2 sections of concrete patio removed and replaced by J&J Concrete. Advised contractor that new slab must be tied into house slab to prevent damage from heaving. Contractor agreed. The first winter '21/'22 no heaving was noted. The summer of '23 I noticed the slab had heaved and damaged the vinyl siding. The contractor was called out and I again asked if the new slab was tied in to the existing slab. He said it was, the damage was "defective siding". I disagreed but had the siding repaired at my expense. The winter of '24/'25 the slab heaved and damaged even more siding. I sent a Certified letter, which was accepted and signed for, to the company's address in *****, ** stating the new damage and requesting they contact me before more damage occurred. Never heard from them.
