About

Important information

  • Believed to be out of business:
According to information in BBB files, it appears that this business is no longer in business.
  • Additional Info:
Based on a review of this entity's website and a report we received on Feb. 12 (2015) from a consumer, BBB believes this entity is not legitimate and advises caution. The consumer reported Snow White Husky requested that they wire payment to them, which is always the sign of an online pet scam.

This type of scheme has become commonplace and there are many bogus websites designed solely to defraud consumers.

BBB offers the following tips to avoid scams when you're looking to adopt, sell or transport a pet:

    * Always research companies at www.bbb.org.
    * Beware of online or classified ads with multiple misspellings and/or grammatical errors. Many pet scams originate overseas, particularly Africa, so scammers usually do not have a good grasp of the English language.
    * Don't be fooled by a well-designed website. Scammers can easily steal images and details from pet postings off the websites of legitimate breeders.
    * Watch out for requests to wire money or make payments with prepaid debit cards. This is usually a sign you're dealing with a scammer.
    * Be leery of classified ads that promise cheap or free pets for adoption. These offers sound good, until the scammers tell you your pet is at the airport but you'll have to pay unexpected fees to continue the adoption process. The fees continue to mount and people eventually discover these offers were not legitimate.
    * When selling a pet, never deal with people who offer to send you a check for more than the requested amount under the conditions that you wire the extra money back to them or any of their affiliates, such as deliverers or handlers.
*If the sellers say you'll have to work with a third-party transport firm, research that company as well. Be sure they are a legitimate entity. If you can't find any information about them online, that could be a sign there's a problem.

The phone number listed for this entity has an Alabama prefix (205). BBB has created a helpful video about online pet scams. Visit https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6ESvLRq8Fhg to view this video.
