      I was referred to this company for an evaluation of a crab apple tree. I received an email proposal which said that I needed apple tree scab and Japanese beetle treatments for $372. I have two Ring cameras on the front of my house and I could see that no one had been out to examine the tree. When I responded that no one had looked at the tree I was told that “I stopped out this morning and got eyes on the tree.” I double checked the Ring and no one had been to my house. I got a second referral for a different tree care company and the arborist examined the tree and found that it doesn’t have apple scab or Japanese beetles. He recommended feeding the tree and felt that the mild winter and wet spring were the problem. I also found out that the landscape company that I bought the tree from has removed Rainbow Tree Care from their list of recommended arborists because of the number of complaints they have received. If I could give this company zero stars I would have.
