  I am very pleased with the 12' x 14' concrete slab Nova Concrete made for me for my 10' x 12' Tuff Shed.
  I had a number of detailed requirements for the slab. Nova Concrete was very patient in working with me through the requirements. Then, they made a slab meeting all these requirements, using a laser level to maintain much better than +/- 3" of level, and precise measurement to remain within 0.25" of the 12' x 14' minimum horizontal dimensions, nearly perfectly rectangular, and a top surface at least 1" above grade.
  When the shed installers came, they remarked that it was a very good cement slab, and met all their requirements for levelness, flatness, and horizontal dimensions. The 10' x 12' shed looks great on this slab, with a nice, even 12" border on all sides.
  I would say a number of additional things:
  1. The cost of this slab was significantly less than that of other bidders' estimates for this project.
  2. The schedule was really good. They installed in less than two weeks after the initial quote, and about a week after I agreed to Nova's revised quote.
  3. Nova sent a 7-man crew, and they worked hard and quickly. I had done most if the digging of the hole for the concrete and class 5 base. The first day they did the remaining digging, measured everything, put in boards to form the perimeter, added class 5 base and rebar in about 5 hours. The concrete pour happened the following day with some guys pushing wheelbarrows full of cement, and others smoothing the cement as it came. This was done in about 3 hours.
  4. 2 days after the slab was completed, it had the appearance of tiny cracks everywhere. I realized that this was the fibers in the concrete used as a strengthener. After about a month, the fibers were no longer visible, and the concrete looked good (the shed was installed about a month after the concrete was poured).
  5. Nova employees were very pleasant to work with, and I would use Nova Concrete again if I needed concrete work.

  I am so glad I went with Nova Concrete for my garage project. I was worried the garage was a lost cause but they lifted the garage, replaced the floor and foundation and put the garage back in place. I was worried the garage would be damaged by lifting it up, but it is clear Nova Concrete knows how to do this work safely. You would never know the garage was lifted up. They also replaced my apron and made a pathway on the side of the garage. Their work looks great and they were easy to work with. I really appreciate how responsive they were to my questions and requests. They also were very courteous to my neighbors, moving equipment right away when asked. I was very impressed with how quickly the work was done, how well they cleaned up, and the quality of the work itself.

  We used Nova Concrete to create the ultimate outdoor patio. However, we ended up with three different colors of concrete, and several cracks and chips. When I called them, the 1st appointment time was 9:30, then without a phone call, I got a google invite for a 12:30 appointment, and still no one showed up. After trying to reach them, he said that the scheduler, messed his appointments up. I told him we were leaving at 6 pm and he showed up at 5:59 pm. I'm still waiting for a follow up to see what they are going to do about my 3 different colors. All of my emails go unanswered. I had a different concrete company come over and it was determined that they didn't use enough rebar and that is why we are getting the cracks. I also asked them if they could put a color sealer on so that would maybe help with the 3 different colors and I'm still waiting for a reply. It's been several months. We paid way too much for this. Would not use them again.
