The salesman did a great job of selling the product and assured us the contractors would complete one window at a time. He also sold the fact that Hansens had a 5 star rating and ensured us this would be the case for us.We have indoor cats and were thrilled this was the case. We were contacted that our windows were in and they would contact us for an installation date. We heard nothing for 2 weeks about the installation so contacted them and they implied it was our responsibility to complete this step. The installation date was set for approximately 3 weeks later. The installers, who are not employed by Hansens, informed me that all windows would be removed before installing the new ones (remember the salesmans assurance of one window at a time and that I own indoor cats). The windows were filthy and the contractors informed me that they had been stored outdoors since they arrived (approximately 1 month at this time) and this was when we actually received precipitation. When the installers were finished, they informed me that the outside trim for one of the windows was not ordered. That same window did not have the finishing hardware for the interior. We also had a window that did not open correctly.I reached out to our Project Manager several times, leaving messages, and never heard from the individual. I was contacted by the billing department to collect the remainder of the payment and informed them that the final payment would not be payed until the job was complete. The person said she ordered the repair items and we were scheduled for the final installation on August 11th. Hansens cancelled this appt and said the parts had not been ordered, but I am the manager and this will be completed and I will contact you. It is now October 20th and we have heard nothing! What a joke! We ordered the windows in January! We are worried that the trim that is not completed on the exterior portion of the window will cause leakage as we reach the winter season.
