  ********** ** Oleson's Tree Service approached by sister on 10/6/2023 about a tree to come down due to "cracking". Not sure if REALLY "cracked" and fees are HIGH. My sister found out after that this tree would have been taken care of by the city as a "boulevard tree". Oleson's was aware of this and took advantage of my sister. The job was NOT finished ! and now NONE of the 4 phone number work nor does the website. My sister is out ALOT of money which could have been FREE had Oleson's done the correct thing and advised her to contact the city, again they knew a "boulevard tree". They do not return calls as they state will do. DO NOT RECOMMEND !!!!

  Olson tree service destroyed my yard while cutting trees down last fall…2022. One of his machines actually fell down my backyard hill because it was not secured properly. He did tree cutting in the dark…did not start working until 12 or 1:00…disturbed the neighborhood. Also promised to return in the Spring to fix the damage but has ghosted me for 6 weeks and has not returned to fix any damage. Levi is totally disrespectful…a poor businessman an overpriced scammer.

  Bellevue, NE - Oleson Tree Service has continued to promise us that our tree will be removed "tomorrow" and we are approaching 2 weeks since the job began. Communication has been minimal/none unless initiated by the customer. Currently, we have a large portion of our tree remaining, our fence has been removed and is ineffective, the small deck they removed in order to gain access to our tree is still in the middle of my front yard, and the bill has been paid in full after the owner sent a poor me text message about having to work on his birthday and promising the tree would be "100% done tomorrow" nearly 1 week ago! We have watched as numerous trees in our neighborhood have been started/finished since our project was started nearly 2 weeks ago. We have been told they need to bring equipment from Minnesota to finish the job and that hasn't arrived. We were told they could finance then were begged for payment so they could "make payroll." The sales rep mistakenly sent a text to me, the customer, that was intended for the owner, complaining about lack of pay and other frustrations about the crew's poor work ethic. Owner has been short with us, claiming to be losing money on our job, despite us paying what was quoted, and even hung up on the customer during one phone call. Oleson's has used "Scare Tactics", saying this is an emergency situation and needs to be taken care of immediately. They have told us they have more experience than others and they are the "experts". They have played on our emotions, saying they cannot pay their employees unless we pay our bill. They have continually "over promised and under delivered" since day one! At one point the OWNER said, "This isn't even my job, it's the sales reps, he should be the one communicating with you. I'll get on him about that." We have not heard from the sales rep since then. Text messages go unanswered. Voicemails go unanswered. The only way to get in touch is to call the 800 number and pray someone answers.

  Eagan, MN homeowner with 1-acre lot, used Oleson to remove and prune recent storm-damaged trees. While at it they quoted, and performed an amazing job of clearing out buckthorn, decaying trees and neighbor overhanging branches in the back 1/2 of our yard. Excellent work, prompt and accomplished everything they promised. I highly recommend them. We also used them in 2019 to remove a 50+ year old infected ash tree in our front yard, same results.
