Washington technical institute is a good school overall. The tuition prices a couple years ago were 1000 dollars for a certificate, however they more than doubled the tuition amounts recently, costing around 3000 bucks. They informed me they do not accept transfer credit, which is strange as most any school will. Due to family and personal issues, I was unable to complete my program in the time allotted, and as such was locked out of my account even though I paid in full. They require me to pay 200 dollars to extend my program only for 4 months. It's not enough time to complete a 24 credit program. I talked with the school about it and they said I can pay 200 for an eight month extension. I hope I can finish on time. Overall the school is ok. One thing I did not like about it is the learning management system. They use another company to host and give access to the courses. Other online schools like penn foster and ashworth college and us career institute have the learning program directly accessible through the site. Anyways, wti is a good school.
