    I had a home built in 2019 and they put vector windows in they were a problem from the start.i did not have grass yet and sand was blowing through the window. Then the condensation started frozen on the inside and outside of windows. So I called had vector come out and told me it’s the humidity in the house give it a few years see if it gets better. 2 years later having the same condensation freezing on inside and outside. That’s there ploy saying it’s a humidity problem. So I called them they came out said they same thing I told them no it’s not the humidity it’s the junky windows.Also when windy could see blinds moving. I spoke to the manager named Mike doesn’t call me back or try to work with me. The bottom line vector windows are crap ?? And the company doesn’t stand by there product. They lie to cover up the junk there selling

    Our service techs first inspected the windows on 3/3/21 and found no window manufacturing defects but did identify window installation issues that can affect their performance that were not completed by Vector Windows. The technicians found that the receivers and jambs were installed improperly and pulled away from the windows. On 12/14/23 Vector also sent out a service technician to inspect a window for condensation and found that the window was made and operating to spec. On this visit, it was measured that there was a 48% humidity level near the window and an outdoor temperature of 31 degrees. This humidity level is above the FGIAs 40% indoor relative humidity threshold to avoid window condensation regardless of the window type. (**************************************************************) We do have record of phone calls from January and last week. There was an effort to return these calls and a voicemail was left last week. We do provide information on how to reduce condensation contributing factors indoors. (***********************************************************************************************) Unless a new issue with the manufacturerd performance of the windows has presented, it was determined that the windows are performing per their rating. However, the installation issues and indoor humidity may be causing undesired effects outside of Vectors control.

    My windows let so much dirt in it is unbelievable. You can have a normal conversation through the windows, its like they are always open. If I can upload pictures please let me know how. I have had service guys out to look at and fix glass issues. When I started to ask questions about quality the 1 guy starts to get all technical and arrogant and tells me they are perform the way they should be. I had to not so politely ask him to leave. His partner was extremely helpful in finishing the repairs. Fast forward I get the rep to come and look at the windows and he says the dirt is perfectly normal for the direction my house is sitting. I asked if he would accept the amount of dirt that gets through my windows in his own house, he would not answer that directly. He just kept telling me they were performing to the specs. I told him the windows were junk, i complety understand why that would offend him and boy did it. He basically said you get what you pay for. He wanted to compare my windows to the size of pick up I pull my fish house with to smaller pick up and which one performed better....... But he did not want hear how my windows compare to the menards windows in my lake cabin or the windows in my old house. Iam sure he is a good guy but I lost my temper to the arrogance and I, not so politely asked him to leave my house. I also know that any future warranty is probably off the table now because of my words but i am already dealing with junk and will have to replace what i have.     We apologize you are experiencing dissatisfaction with your product. As you have stated we did send a service team on multiple occasions. On 12/8/2022 we provided a glass replacement warranty service. On 2/13/23 our service team inspected all the windows, and they were found to be performing according to specifications. On 8/8/23 service was provided with all windows inspected and glass, tilt latches, and pivot bars were replaced where needed. On Friday, February 2nd our representative also came out and confirmed that weather stripping was applied on all windows, and they were functioning properly per our certified specifications for that product. We understand your frustration, however, our service team has fulfilled our warranty and service commitments for these windows.

    I wish I could give minus 5 stars. Horrible product. Horrible customer service. We built a new home 5 years ago. From day 1, every window leaked a significant amount of air. Enough to blow out a flame. Vector knows of this problem. Vector sent service techs to my home 4 times. They never fixed the problem. They verified windows were installed correctly. They replaced window sliders. They added foam. Not any better. I called Vector Windows service department several time since to tell them. I emailed Vector Windows. Vector Windows does not return my calls or emails. The windows are under warranty, but they refuse to address the known problems any further. They just claim all windows leak, and want me to pay for an expensive window leak test. I was advised not to pay for this, as the test allows so much air infiltration, that it will likely fail. Bottom line, the windows and customer service are horrible.

We did go ahead and look into your order internally, and you are correct in saying that our service team has responded to your concerns many times and made adjustments to the product to ensure it meets or exceeds our labeled air ratings. All brands and types of windows do allow some amount of air into the home.
