      Buyer beware! This company is taking advantage of its customers. It claims it gives you upfront pricing. It does not. I was charged initially $2,900 for a job that took less than 2 hours and cost of parts less than $250. We were shocked, the tech then took $450 off that was supposedly the dispatch fee. I hadn’t even seen an estimate or invoice and had to ask for it. When I confronted the company they gave a long list of extra fees they are charging for. I was not able to get any sort of break down of the pricing. We talked with other experienced plumbers when getting water softener bids (which BWS bid out double the price of others) and they said their charge to us was outrageous. If you google, look at the lowest rated reviews and you will see a long list of complaints like this. I am guessing these get buried or they have fake google reviews. I would never use this company again!!

      Recommend using a different plumbing service for a clogged drain. My experience when I called on a Saturday: They said it would cost $178 for same day service. I was under the impression this was the charge for the drain clearing. Turns out this was only a dispatch fee where they called another company to do the actual work. Then a guy showed up to take pictures and tell me it would be another $500. He too committed to same day service. Then I got a call from the first guy who said the actual service tech would come the next day. I said this wasn’t our deal and I would only accept same day service or a refund. He wasn’t listening so I hung up. This echoes the unethical concerns of the Scott D. review below. I got a text shortly after saying someone would be out the same day. That person, who is not a BWS employee, did fine work. So, BWS was an expensive, unreliable, and borderline unethical middleman. Don’t use them. I did add a star because they made it right in the end.

      I had an incredibly frustrating experience with BWS. I hired them to install a high-end HVAC unit, but they installed a much cheaper model instead. This deceitful practice is not only unethical but also a blatant breach of trust. To make matters worse, the installation was done incorrectly, requiring five additional visits over the course of two weeks. Despite these repeated attempts, the installation ultimately failed. Frustrated and disappointed, we decided to remove the furnace and A/C and went with another company. Their fraudulent practices and lack of accountability are unacceptable. If you’re looking for a reliable heating and plumbing company, steer clear of BWS. Save yourself the hassle and find a company that values honesty and customer satisfaction.

      ***** - This is disappointing to hear despite our efforts to satisfy your expectations. We take those accusations very seriously. We take a number of precautions as a company to ensure complete transparency with our customers. Before we perform any work, our customers receive a detailed proposal for the work that will be completed, including the total price. It is company policy that prior to performing any of the work on the proposal, that proposal is accepted and signed by the homeowner. BWS installed the specific unit and model number that was on the signed and accepted proposal by yourself. After the work was completed, you called in mentioning that you felt the unit was not working properly. We then sent a technician out late into a Friday evening to ensure it was working properly for yourself and your family. When you continued to feel the unit wasnt working properly, we then escalated it to Carrier, the manufacturer of the specific unit you requested, and had the *************** Manager meet at your home to confirm the unit was sized properly for your space, as well as that the unit was installed to manufactures specs. Even when the *************** Manager confirmed the unit was in fact operating to manufacture specs, was sized correctly for your home, and was effectively cooling your space the way the unit was designed, you were not satisfied. We take customer satisfaction very seriously and want all of our customers to be satisfied with their experience with BWS, so much so that even when the manufacture confirmed that the unit was installed perfectly, and that the unit was operating the way it was designed, we still offered to remove the unit and refund you a 100% of your investment in the system. I am very sorry that we were not able to satisfy your expectations despite our efforts and we wish you the best of luck.

      Pro: nothing Con: unable to fix a shower leak. Sent 2 plumbers to fix a leak but they made the leak worse. Charged for services not rendered. Tried to distract with a new bath renovation in which is not part of their service. The renovation would cost thousands. This is basically what happened, I won't go into detail. They offered to send someone out again for a charge.

      The most knowledgeable, thorough and best customer service in the business! Had them come for a furnace inspection. Would highly recommend them.

      Again had BWS people to check semiannual plumbing & furnace; both individuals were pleasant and competent. Didn’t have correct UV replacement bulb on truck. Came back end of with correct bulb and replaced.

      I have always been happy with BWS but they basically came and told me I needed a new faucet and to go on wayfair and find one. I haven’t had a kitchen sink for a week and I still don’t have one. And then it was a crazy amount of money for them to come back and put it in. No thank you!
