    Value Plus Flooring installed our flooring in our brand new house. The flooring that they installed was guaranteed for life, and would hold up to anything life throws at it. Our boards were coming apart to no fault of our own. Theres a transition that broke approximately three times since weve lived here and I have never in my life seen a transition break. They told us we are lying and transitions dont just break. We are not lying, we walk through the house. No riding toys, no bowling *****, no roller blades have ever been on this floor or in this house. I was in touch with them back in September 2023 to come out and look at this floor and it took them 6 months to actually come fix it. I said I was ok waiting if they needed to figure out a plan. I was extremely patient waiting. 6 months later they fixed it, but now they want $200 due to it being past warranty as far as we knew, they were working this out with our builder and with the actual floor manufacturer since we didnt do anything wrong to cause the floor to be defective and its supposed to handle what life throws at it, right? When we talked to *****, he said that they do their best to take care of their customers. The way that it was discussed there was no dollar amount involved, as though they took responsibility for the fact that, to no fault of our own, the floor was not quite right. So this bill was a total surprised to me. A customer should absolutely never be surprised by a bill. How much something is going to cost should be an upfront discussion. Considering there was no discussion, and last they said to me they were taking this up with our builder and the flooring manufacturer, I did not assume we would be given a bill. Given how long it took them to actually come out and fix it and the surprise ****, I am extremely disappointed and I would not recommend them.
