Last year, a few month's before I turned 65, I applied for my pension from Labors 872. I have all of the paperwork given to me by the union and Wilson ******** clearly showing I'm entitled to a pension. The benefits person from Wilson ******** took my application and paperwork, opened her computer, said "that doesn't match our information." End of story, no explaination, no official denial. Since then, 872 benefits person is unreachable. She won't return phone calls, respond to emails, and the doors are locked due to COVID. The union VP, who I used to work with, has been telling me for over a year that he knows that they owe me a pension, he'll take care of it. I have contacted him several times just to hear, "I'll take care of you buddy." Nothing has ever been done.

(Duluth office:) I was told on 6/02/2022 that everything I needed to submit had been received in order to obtain partial retirement monies. On 6/21/22, I got in touch with the supervisor of the person I had been working with, who informed me it had been 'sitting' on a desk the entire time and had not been forwarded to her for approval and processing. I was then told a check would be cut the next day and would take 3-5 days to arrive certified mail. I'm still waiting--still no check today, 6/27/2022. So they've used my 10's of thousands of dollars to earn interest on their end for this entire month instead of sending me my money--not too hard to figure out why it has taken this long.
