I had my appointment two months in advance and had done every test required for the online exam. I live four hours from the nearest testing center. Every time I tested, I was good to go - no problems. Until the day of the day of the test and they cant see me. But everything on my end is working. Have been trying for 3 hours to take this lousy exam and they offer zero technical support. Terrible company. They shouldnt be allowed to ******* anything ever!Review fromTimothy A

So you book your timeslot online. They know how many people are booking that time slot and how many proctors they have. Instead of not letting you book a time that is already overbooked, they allow you to. Then they warn you that if you are late you get no refund/rescheduling. So please tell me why I was 15 minutes early to my online exam, and am still in a queue 45 min after my start time for an exam, with an estimated wait time of another 50 min. I will be waiting over an hour and a half for an exam that has a total time of ******************************************** employees, you wouldn't allow this. you have the technology in place to do so, but only care about getting the money from the test takers.Review fromLiz A.

After studying for many hours, I logged into my exam 30 minutes early did what was required of me, and the online Pearson Vue ******* said my internet wasn't working well. I checked my internet and everything was fine (as always). They kept putting me back in the cue. I waited for an hour for someone to get back to me. Rather than tell us (many of whom are students) that they do not have adequate staffing, they try and blame us for their issues. They are SERIOUSLY UNDERSTAFFED and many of us will pay the price for their greed. It's better to take the test in person rather than online which I will now do even if I have to wait several months to do so. I am not the only student in my credential program who has experienced this, I was just hoping my experience would be different. I do hope I'm able to get a refund for the money I spent on this test, but I'm sure they will make it very difficult. They should be held liable for their mistakes and refund their customers. Their misleading behavior should lead to a class action lawsuit.Review fromsandeep k

Umhh what can I say about this fraud company. They schedule maintenance for 8 hour but it lasts for days .Exams are so complicated out of textbook and study plan knowledge. Their customer ********************** is pathetic , they have chat box which is unavailable every time I try to get hold of an agent. Government needs to work with them and stop their monopolyReview fromElisha N

Avoid at all costs! We ordered new textbooks last year and have mostly regretted it. The sample textbook they provided was one text, but the ones we ordered came in three separate books (which you better believe we paid for all 3 instead of 1....). As we opened up the new books, we realized the page numbers and table of contents were all the same which makes navigating these books horrible for students. Try explaining to 13 year olds that page ********************************* the book. The online resource is so poorly organized. I thought so initially, but then we also purchased a new Science resource from ****** and after using their site, Pearsons site is like using the work of a preschooler in comparison. Documents are linked incorrectly, many are incomplete, and it takes forever to navigate the terrible formatting of the site. Not to mention that when trying to looking through the online pages, there is no option to view full screen so you spend forever scrolling through pages. This is just the tip of the iceberg of disappointment with this resource. Avoid wasting your money!Review fromEric S

Their website is terrible since it doesn't take orders very well. Their website will crash on you if you click the refresh button. Everything will make myLab products crash when doing homework. I am currently trying to get back to myLab after being kicked out of the program randomly. Pearson will not take my payment and I am stuck in this situation.Review fromKaralynn S

I would give this company ZERO stars if I could. Their customer ********************** and tech support are outsourced and have NO SKILL SET, no admin priviledges, **** to offer the struggling customer so I'm not sure why they're considered "support." We ordered a book for my son's summer college Spanish class- it said it was in stock- and then got hit with an email that said it was on backorder. There weren't a lot of purchase options so we decided to be patient. Well, it's been TWO AND A HALF WEEKS and the book is finally coming in tomorrow night 3 days AFTER the access code to the eBook and Spanish Lab expired. I called to get this resolved, and they don't care that he's missing critical resources for his class, they don't offer a partial refund or discount, they don't even know how to bypass the access code. I talked to 5 different agents who bumped me back and forth from customer ********************** to tech support. One of them hung up on me. I'm beyond done and will be recommending to the professor to STOP using their curriculum as its a huge roadblock for students.Review fromCharles M

I lost my test fee ($165) to their 24 hour rescheduling rule. The problem being for 4 DAYS PRIOR TO THE DEADLINE, the site wouldn't let me successfully login (multiple times, multiple PCs) until after the 24 hour window had passed. The few times it did let me in prior to the deadline, the script to reschedule was non-responsive. At the stroke of 24 hours I could login without issue and the option to reschedule/cancel was no longer available. When I tried calling the company, after 3 incorrect numbers, I did finally get thru to someone named ******. I gave him my info and briefly explained my issue and how I needed them to reschedule the exam. He "looked into it" and determined the 24 hour deadline had passed (like I had already explained to him) and that was why I couldn't reschedule the exam. He said they were following MS policy, I asked who to contact at MS, He said MS couldn't reschedule/refund the exam. He also kept trying to make an issue out of my previously rescheduling the exam (and others), I asked what was his point. Those reschedules had nothing to do with the failure of their website that made it impossible to reschedule the exam on time. I event mentioned the problems I'd had in the past with rescheduling on their website. So (again per ******) there is nothing they can ('will' seems more likely) do. MS won't refund/reschedule PV won't refund/reschedule PV website issues are what caused be to miss the deadline. Prognosis: too bad, so sad. Options (per ******): 1) Eat the loss of the fee and pay to take it again 2) Take a test I'm certain not to pass and then pay to take it again (plus the PTO I will now have to use). Blunt CX service like this simply adds credence to the conviction of many that the Certification Business is just one big money-grab, a grift by any other name. It certainly has tarnished my opinion of the industry.

I have recently had a very unfortunate purchasing experience with Pearson. I ordered two textbooks on a Sunday with overnight delivery, expecting them to be delivered the following Tuesday. I received an email on Monday that Book A was on backorder. I sent an email the next day (Tuesday) asking that Book A be canceled, and Book B be canceled if it had not shipped. I checked the order status which said it had not shipped. I needed the books that evening so I purchased them elsewhere. Wednesday morning Pearson responded that the Book B had shipped. I responded to this email asking them to confirm that Book A was canceled and to begin the return process for ************ B was delivered Wednesday afternoon. They did not respond to this email, so I resent the same email again several days later to the same email I had been corresponding with in addition to customer support. On Monday (today) I called and talked to customer ********************** trying to get a return label for Book B and she tells me that Book A was already delivered. I tell her that I have a Ring doorbell so I know for a fact that it has not been delivered or I would have been notified, at which point she says that it has been shipped today. She tells me that she will email me the return label and case number when we hang up. I don't receive the case number so I call back and go through everything with another representative, but this time insist that she send the case number before hanging up. I'm still waiting on the return shipping label.I recommend buying from a different seller if at all possible. Pearson does not seem to prioritize individual students or teachers.
