On 4/4/2023, I called looking for flood cleanup. I explained to the original operator that this was my first time doing this and that this was not an emergency and can wait till the next day. She asked for my information and transferred me to a male individual. He said he could come by in 30 minutes and I said okay. I did not know this was considered an emergency call because I told the operator that it wasn’t and that I could wait till the next day. The two young men came and looked around and did their testing and quoted me 4,000 dollars. I asked why for a small space and he said for the equipment and daily monitoring. I was uncomfortable with the price and stated that I’m thinking of getting a second quote, he then said they can extract the water from the carpet and leave the dehumidifier in the basement for a day for 1000. I asked him to explain the extraction because I had a rental carpet cleaner already and I wanted my carpet to be pulled up. He said if they needed to pull it up to extract water then they would. They probably worked less than an hour and left. Before they left I asked when the machine would be picked up and he said the company will call me tomorrow to schedule a time. I went downstairs and felt some carpet soaked more than other areas, and observed that none of the carpet had been pulled up. I trusted the process because this was my first time. On 4/5/2023, around 9 or 10 in the morning they called and said they were coming to pick up the machine around 12:00 to 3:00pm. I explained that I had to leave by 12:30pm and didn’t get off work until 10pm. I told them they can come before my shift or anytime after. They asked if they could just come on 4/6/2023. Moral of the story because I’m running out of characters, they did not provided the service that was promised and overcharged me. Then I did realize that one of the things I sign said I was satisfied, which I wasn’t . I feel scammed and thinking about taking this to court.

My wife and I absolutely loved their service! We found ourselves completely clueless and in a tough bind. They were here in a jif and couldn't have been more courteous! The perfect blend of knowledge of the process, humor and follow through care made the most of the situation...HIGHLY recommend and will do so to anyone who needs them. Enrique, Jose and Eli were our team and they are just the best! I hope we never need it again but if we do?! We're definitely calling them. ??

I would give less than a star if I could. When it flooded in Albert Lea this summer, I was looking at the water surrounding my house at 1 AM. They came by and offered assistance, I took them up on it not knowing how it would be. I am considered legally blind and can not read a contract to save my life. I told the employees from Service Restoration when they wanted me to sign the contract--They told me it just gave them permission to do the cleaning/drying of the basement, so I signed. In reality, the contract gives them permission for so much more. When I stopped them due to the unknown cost being incurred and being constantly told my insurance would cover it, I said get the heck out! Then "Dan" from Rochester kept pressuring me to let them continue. This has been a nightmare for a blind lady! They had no idea what my insurance would cover! And they had the audacity to not clean up after themselves!
