  I live in the **************, and the city switched to Stevens Disposal when the trash contract was up for bid. Our previous trash hauler had become unreliable in my opinion and wanted to charge more, so I was happy to hear that a new company was awarded the contract. I must say that I am impressed. My garbage is promptly picked up every week in the morning. The guys who handle the lawn waste always treat my cans with care, and the guys driving the trucks are always very accurate. There has never been a problem. The new trash and recycle cans are well built and are much easier to use than the previous arrangement with the old hauler. They also give us a second can for free with the citys contractperfect for when we have some extra trash. I am a really big fan of this company because it is local and seems very responsible and reliable.

  I have requested bulk pick up for over 6 weeks now. Backboard for basketball & backboard. No rim or pole. I have been told (pacified) they would be “here to pick it up on Tuesday.” They never showed. I have requested bulk pick up prior with having to call back up to 3 times. This is was past the 3. I have emailed, called, and have been so patient. Don’t count on Steven’s Disposal to make your bulk pick up hassle free. You may as well bring it to them or a trash dump.

  I don't believe someone should be able to submit a review with a 1 or 2 start without at least leaving a reason that way a company can defend themselves. We have no one in our system with this name so have no clue what the issue is.

  Customer is correct the bulk item was not picked up as promised. This is an issue being address.

  Fitting that a garbage service would have such garbage customer service. They didn't get recycling for two weeks, it was stuffed in the big can and we had extra inside, and their awful 'customer service agent', when asked about a credit for services NOT rendered on time, just said 'Well we got it, didn't we?' OK, how about this when I pay my bill late and don't pay you the late fee: 'Well I paid my bill, didn't I?' Jerks. If there was another option in the area to this two-bit monopoly I'd be paying them right now.

  Customer only called one time regarding recycling being missed. Credit was not given because a truck was sent out to pick up the recycling after we were notified. Stevens is not a monopoly, there are other providers in the area.
