    It was a very bad experience. The gentleman administering the test was not helpful. I had an issue with my car charger and my phone ran empty. I needed to plug my phone in to turn it on in order to bring up my proof of insurance. I ask if I could plug it into his car for a minute. He did not say yes or no. Just acted like he didn't hear me even after several times of requesting. it was very strange. He simply stated I had a deadline to show him the proof or he would terminate the appointment. Their would be no refund. My bad on the phone thing, but it was in his ability to help. From start to finish, this experience was unusual and unpleasant. After this, I would never recommend this company. And did I mention, they had no problem terminating the test and keeping my money?

    n reference to ***** comment about taking his money, E-Z Way sends every customer a confirmation text which reminds them to take a second look at the fee and refund policy on our website. In order to pay for the test with a credit card online, every customer must check the box that they have read and agree to our refund policy and terms of agreement. The fee and refund (company policy) is very clear that if you schedule an appointment and we send an examiner to the test site for you, there will be no refund if you don't bother to bring the correct documents. E-Z Way still has to pay the examiner, test site rent, insurance and wasted time for the appointment that the customer scheduled. In the 1990's we didn't have a reschedule fee. Our examiners would have a full day of customers to test and the customers would frequently not show up, have missing documents, arrive late or have faulty vehicle equipment that doesn't meet state requirements. For these reasons, all road testing companies have a fee and refund policy similar to ours. Every policy is on file with the State of Michigan. We are required to follow the policy equally for every customer. This information is made available to the customer in multiple ways. In this situation, since Mike seems surprised about the fee, he obviously agreed to the fee and refund policy (by checking the box online) without reading it, ignored our confirmation texts and ignored the email reminder about what to bring.
