I would NEVER recommend this service to anyone after years to using them on my sprinkler system. Obviously, they have NO loyalty to returning customers for the work, My Grandma, Father and neighbors with sprinkling systems have used this service over the years. Now that I am the owner of the residence in which the work is being done, I have been treated terribly. The service tech was yelling at me. Trying to blame me for the bad word that they did. What a joke almost $700.00 to repair a sprinkler head that was broken? The heads along are under $20.00. There was no explanation on what was being replaced in the invoice, what was this amount really for in costs? Crazy and when I call to ask what was going on I am always put off. There is never someone of authority to talk with. I called time and time again only to never hear back from them. Obviously they do not care anything about the customer. I would like to call Target News 8 and expose them for the cheaters that they really are.

Thanks for forwarding this concern. We are committed to resolving any concern that is communicated to us by our customers and are happy to review this specific situation. From the information provided, we believe her concern is associated with a Spring Start up in June of 2020. At that start-up we replaced one valve and three sprinkler heads for $665. Our notes indicate that we were supposed to repair a sprinkler head (that may have been damaged by a fence company) at no charge the following spring - although the customer believes it is one of the new sprinkler heads that we installed. We returned to the property in June and the technician spent over an hour at the property. There are notes that the customer is unhappy - and that we are to provide a free winterization - although there is no indication that the broken was replaced. The visit was free of charge. We have not returned to the property since and it is unclear whether it because the customer does not want us to return or we have not been able to confirm an appointment.
At the end of the day, it appears that the customer needs better communication from Grapids and the customer's concern needs to be resolved. We will follow up with the customer to work out a resolution.

In 2020, Grapids Irrigation completely re-piped my outside sprinkler head, including a new relief valve, for approx. $400. When I started my sprinkler this season, there was a significant leak from one of the fittings. I called their emergency service and there was no one available in the ********* area at that time. The customer support rep (***) informed me that they only warranty all repairs, including parts, for 2 years. She assured me that I would be taken care of as soon as possible and that she would work with me on the repair costs. It took 2 weeks before a technician arrived to my home. He evaluated the situation and said the valve currently in place is not very good quality (they had installed that valve 2 years before), and recommended a much beefier copper valve which would solve the problem. He quoted me $400 for this valve alone. Since I had waited already 2 weeks and was unable to use my sprinkler in that time, I gave him authorization to do the work but complained that this was extremely high for a single valve when they had re-piped my entire system 2 years before for less cost. He agreed to refund the $99 service charge but I would need to contact the *** for further discounts. The $400 he quoted DID NOT include the $99 service charge. I agreed to let him do the work and said I would reach out to the ***. He cut out the old valve and installed the new one in approx. 40 minutes, although his GPS said he was there for over an hour. This was a simple job for him and there is no way this new valve cost more than $70, yet with tax I was charged $537.12. I called the *** and she immediately credited the $99 service charge but would not reduce any further. She had promised to work with me but, I don't feel that way. Since I had already waited 2 weeks for them to show up, I felt I had no choice but to have them do the work and expected a further discount since the work was only 2 years old. Unless this valve goes bad, I will not use Grapids again.

This is regarding the ********* office. Grapids winterized my 91 yr mother's sprinkler system. This Spring the neighbor discovered the pipe connecting water-source to sprinklers to be broken. Called Grapids & earliest appt was 10 days out with ETA range 3-6 pm. House was attended that entire 3 hr period. At 5:45 was called & informed technician would not be there by 6pm; did we want to re-schedule? Reply was no, it needed to be done ASAP as lawn now ***** & crunchy! Advised technician would call right back presumably to make arrangements. Waited until 8 pm & call never received. Next day called office again to resolve issue. Informed receptionist I did not want to wait another 10 days due to lawn condition. Advised she would have to discuss rearranging schedule with manager & promised to call me back. Did call back 4 hrs later to advise resolution not yet reached but still working on it. That was 2 days ago & have yet to hear back from them.
