DK Security is the worse company I've ever worked for. If you are not yt trust me this company is not for you. Majority of upper management are racist and doesn't care about the well being of any minority employees. I attended duty directing traffic for a concert in ************, ********. I arrived 2 hours early. There was one yt woman on-site. She told me traffic for the concert was to be directed into the main parking lot. The pickle ball players could park in their designated area then she immediately left. I stood in the area she stood at to be sure to cover her area. As each employee came in 1 hour late, I directed them to designated areas to be sure parking arrangements were followed. During my shift, a yt man in a tool truck drove up; I directed him to where deliveries were made. When the yt man proceeded to leave he drove in front of me and ask about the concert. I gave him what little information I knew. He then called me a mushroom, I asked what a mushroom was. He then said someone I can lock in my basement and beat to a pulp. I was horrified, he then stared at me as if he was threatening me. My immediate reaction was to get off the edge of the street. I was a unarmed officer. I got my cell phone and tried to contact HR to inform them of what happen. Just as I was calling 3 of the supervisors finally showed up in a DK security **, 5 hours late. I immediately went to the ** to let them know what happen and I didn't feel comfortable with being at that post. I asked to be sent to the open area so I can feel more comfortable. I told them what happened *****, his lover, and ***** laughed in my face. ***** said No then told me to get thicker skin then left. I called HR to leave. HR contacted me back by email stating no phone use was allowed on shift. My job was then threatened by *****. ***** was then promoted to VP, ***** and his lover were promoted as well. As a military veteran and minority, I was insulted and dismissed. This company needs to drown!

My family attended an event on may 15 at 6:30pm. I had a candy Bouquet for my 7 year old granddaughter to give after her performance. I was told no candy was aloud in the facility. After asking for a supervisor and waiting 10 minutes for her to arrive my family and I watched many families go through with no problem bringing in boxes of chocolates and various other candys for other performers. After finally being greeted with attitude by the supervisor, I explained it was for my granddaughter who was performing I was rudely told I cant bring it in. I also asked for her name and told me I dont have to tell you my name I called there headquarters and was told to leave a message with the manager for the Dow event centers supervisor. I have left a message explaining the same as above with no response. Im very dissatisfied with the rude security people and so is my granddaughter who will have no gift for her performance while others will have candies for their performances. Such a policy is ridiculous and discriminating against individuals is illegal. I will me also bring this to our chamber of commerce and to the mayor directly.

Thank you for your feedback regarding the event on May 15th. We apologize for the inconsistency in enforcing the facility's no outside food policy and for the unprofessional behavior you experienced from our staff. This is not reflective of our standards, and we will address these issues directly.
