Went to a viewing and waited over an hour for our scheduled viewing. Manager got there and had to speak with a tenant because her 2 small children almost drown in the pond because it’s not maintained or fenced off. The apartment was filthy and still had a lot of the tenants things in it. There were major repairs that they said wouldn’t be fixed. My son tripped and fell twice over the things on the floor. It was filthy and stunk badly. The stairs and deck were very unsafe. I was given an application and let the property manager know I would send it to her along with all of my information within a couple of days. She texted me not even 2 hours later “waiting on info” I sent everything the next morning. All I got back was “do u have move in money” which I stated “almost all of it” then I heard nothing back. I called the office and got no response so I texted on Facebook messenger because that’s how I originally was able to get ahold of them and asked for an update on my application status and next thing I see is that I was BLOCKED!! no explanation or anything and I would love for someone to say none of this happened because I have all of the proof!! Well, I ended up being able to come up with the rest of the move in money but now it will be going toward a company that actually responds and doesn’t just block you for no reason! Everyone says I dodged a bullet and that’s coming from previous tenants and current as well. Also, they never called my references or checked my rental history.. I absolutely know there was no reason to BLOCK me except the fact I didn’t have the money right then and there fully! VERY unprofessional and rude tbh..be cautious because now this woman has mine and my children’s personal information and I’m definitely worried about it!! Previous tenants have also complained about leaky ceilings, mold, neglect, dangerous things that need repaired which the company ignores, and more. I have the texts and pictures from current and previous tenants.

Made an appointment for Friday at 5:30. Got a call Thursday at 5:00 about missing an appointment. Sent them the messages that say Friday. They rescheduled, for Saturday at 5. No one shows up. Call the number that called originally. The lady was very rude. Didn't write down the reschedule. Also stated she didn't know why they reschedule when we missed the original. We resent her the original appointment information stating we didn't miss, and was called to reschedule. She remembered us but didn't remember rescheduling. We told her no thank you, and we didn't want to reschedule. She then started yelling. Told her no thank you again and hung up while she was still yelling.

It started when the wheelchair ramp outside was destroyed by snow plows at the beginning of the year. The landlords made no effort to contact the wheelchair user, (who needs the ramps). Instead, the wheelchair user's neighbor, who heard the ramp being destroyed, informed the wheelchair user and their spouse of the incident and contacted the landlord to inform them of the situation. The landlord NEVER contacted the wheelchair user ******************** the issue. The ramp was fixed quickly once they were informed that rent payment could be withheld until it was repaired. Then, more recently, the owners of the property have started putting in new doors at all the buildings. These new doors require a code to unlock, rather than a key. The landlord has not contacted me or, to my knowledge, any of my neighbors, nor my spouse, with the code requiring to open the new door. Additionally, we received an email more than a month ago saying the new doors were going in "soon", but were never given a heads up saying "your building is next" a week or even a day in advance. Instead, we received a text informing us that the new door was going in AS the installers were removing the old door. Very unprofessional for a business owner of any type.I'm honestly more concerned about the behavior from the landlords surrounding the wheelchair ramp situation, as that is a safety concern.
