  We "worked" with Matt Ulanoff in 2020. He contacted us, touting high credentials as a radio promoter (which he has/had). We were excited and flattered that someone in the community radio world had recommended us (we had done other marketing campaigns independently). In retrospect, the "to good to be true" should have been a huge RED FLAG. He was extremely communicative about the marketing plan and promised we'd receive updates on who had been contacted so we could follow up with the stations our album had been pitched to. Once we paid him, he became evasive and increasingly hard to get a hold of. He never provided any reports that were promised and when we pressed him about this he blocked us on socials and on the phone. This man is a scammer and caused serious psychological pain during an already trying time of Covid. Hiring him was a significant drain to our limited finances, causing us major delays in the advance of our career. I write this feeling sorry for the others he scammed, but also feeling vindicated finding the others who feel the way we do. If anyone reads this, DO NOT HIRE MATT ULANOFF.

  **** is a coward and a thief!! Do not work with him. He will take your money and ghost you. Before you pay him he is great at communicating and the second you send him money you wont hear from him again.

  DO NOT work with this guy. Perfectly nice guy when talking to him, which is a challenge because you WANT to trust him, but he just doesn't deliver on literally ANYTHING he says he will do, and then eventually just stops communicating altogether. More than losing all my money, I am most frustrated that he took so much time away from me, and broke my trust after I told him what a financial hardship it would be to swing the cost of his services. I wasted so much mindshare trying to chase him down that I could've been spending in productive ways. Shame on you for taking advantage of so many artists ****. This industry is hard enough without people like you in it.

  Absolutely the worst human in the music business. He will deliver to a few things but largely take your money and come up with an excuse - mainly - health reasons as to why hes not answering his phone.

  Im not used to write bad reviews. But this guy doesnt even deserve one star . If it was a ZERO star It would reflect my review better I usually give people the benefit of the doubt. But Im taking the time today because I really dont want anyone to waste their money and get screwed. We put so much work into our Art and hope that we find people on the way to help us arise and **** is DEFINITELY NOT that person . Please dont give him your money its a waste . I have nothing personal against him . But totally unprofessional. Disappear. No communication. But surprisingly really on time to send you a Zelle request to get your money . Booked me something but never got confirmation from the radio so it was probably just a lie.I had to call email text him to get my money back . Took a month of begging for my refund. Please dont work with him and if you do put everything into writing to make sure your money is protected . What a SHAME to take avantage of artists working their a** off for their music and career . But ***** will take care of him and his dishonesty.

  Complete con takes upfront money and then immediately goes *** does not communicate, does not give reports, says, no one gives reports anymore, which is complete BS; every legitimate radio promo person or company gives weekly reports after insisting he report, he acquiesced only to never follow through. He returned half of the money he was given, acknowledging his unethical behavior; then was given a chance to redeem himself to earn the remainder of the funds he still possessed but immediately pulled the same stunt, only worse said he booked radio dates/interviews, which I travelled to, at great expense, only to find they were never booked in the first place. Claims he contacted certain stations then upon checking those claims, found he not only did NOT contact those stations but they hadnt even been sent the single. Absolute shyster.
