    I purchased a Malone cargo box from an online dealer. It was recommended I try to work with Malone directly to resolve an issue I had with the box locking despite following the instructions. Malone's interactions with me appeared to be much more concerned with legally complying with their support obligation than helping me fix my problem. For example, when I mentioned a key got stuck in a lock, Malone sent me a new lock without any instructions to install the lock. When I requested how to install the lock, they mentioned something along the lines of "your support request is now complete, your lock was broken, we sent a new one, you need to figure that out yourself." After a six-month long series of back-and-forth involving me recording iphone videos showing that the box was shut when attempting to lock it, a series of parts shipped with no instructions in attempt to satisfy my request for help, and multiple phone calls to the dealer and Malone, my Malone cargo box is finally in its rightful place: the trash. I had my car outfitted with a Thule box yesterday. The lock works great.
