They constantly hang up and do not follow up for your distribution of your own money.

My experience with WEX Health has been extremely disappointing and unacceptable, especially considering the critical nature of COBRA health coverage. Their communication is severely lackingimportant deadlines and coverage information are vague or completely missing. The online portal is outdated, unreliable, and difficult to navigate. Even worse, customer service is nearly unreachable, and when you do get through, the representatives are often unhelpful or misinformed.WEX Health has created an unnecessarily stressful and confusing process during a time when people need support and clarity the most. Their handling of ******************** is negligent at best and harmful at worst. I strongly advise others to proceed with caution or seek alternatives if possible.

Wex wants receipts submitted to make sure charges are appropriate. My dental *** card had a charge from firefly pediatric dentistry. Why do I need to **** down receipts for this? This sort of barrier should not be permitted on a use it or lose it *** account.

WEX HEALTH SUCKS! They have no idea what they are doing and its an absolute atrocity of a company. They gave me no physical card and have not provided me with any details on how to use the digital one. I cant see what my card number is or any details and they said they cant provide me that information.

WEX is terrible. My prior company uses them for their Cobra benefits. I paid for dental/vision coverage for 2 months ($189.91/month). I called WEX to confirm the file feed/payment was sent to ******* prior to an appointment in March, which they did. At the appointment I was denied coverage and forced to pay $391 out of pocket. When my *** called Metlife to re-check, ******* showed my coverage ended on my term date from my company (none of the WEX payments went through to them to continue my coverage). A dozen phone calls later, WEX stands by the fact that they sent ******* the money to continue coverage, and refuses to reimburse me for my payments. They continue to tell me to wait 3 business days and call ******* again. They are a scam and shouldn't be in business.

Business owners: beware. WEX charged me over $3,500 for $1,612 in actual fuel. Thats more than 120% in non-fuel fees including monthly high risk charges, paper statement fees, card access fees, and compounding finance charges.Despite paying over $2,300 toward my balance, theyve still left me with $1,200+ due, mostly fees not fuel. Ive made consistent payments and received no path to remove the high risk label or get a clean slate. This feels like legal loan sharking dressed up as a fleet card service.WEXs billing model hits small businesses with stacked penalties, little transparency, and no realistic off-ramp once they classify your account. If youre experiencing similar treatment, I strongly recommend filing with the *** at ********************** leaving this complaint public to warn others, but I will delete or update it if WEX resolves this fairly by:Reversing unjustified penalty fees,Reclassifying my account, and Providing a full breakdown of all non-fuel charges. This shouldnt happen to any business trying to stay afloat.

WEX has a great gas card service they offer to companies with a large number of vehicles being used to deliver services. We have 30+ credit cards used in our *****, **-based landscape company. Our monthly gas billing with them averages in the $17k-$19k range. What is infuriating with them is how difficult they make it for a company like ours to have our monthly bill paid via an auto-pay (think ACH, EFT) on the date the bill is due. They seemingly dont make this an option and so Ive set reminders, etc. to myself to make the payment but this past month I missed the due date by TWO DAYS and was charged a finance charge of $3591.45 on the $19,235.71 payment I made. Excuse me? A $3591 charge on $19,235 is an finance charge of *****%. But for a TWO DAY period that works out to be 3407% interest per year! Ive reached out to the company about this in the past. I similarly was assessed $7681.22 in three billing cycles in the second half of 2024. Their billing paperwork says that a Late Fee will be calculated by multiplying the applicable late fee rate by the Total Outstanding Balance on the Calculation Date, not to exceed the amount allowable by applicable law. Blah blah blah. Certainly an APR in excess of THREE THOUSAND 400 % violates usury laws!?When Ive complained about this in the past theyve not been responsive. This time Im ******. Ill be escalating this wherever I can, be it with the State of Maine Secretary of State, or the **************************.

Truly terrible company. Been using an *** through them for a few years and every SINGLE time I have an appointment, they want evidence even though it's literally from the same doctors office every single time. I send them an EOB and they try to play games and tell me I shouldn't have paid as much as I did and deny my claim. That's what the doctor charged, that's what should be paid and enough with the games. I for sure won't EVER be using this product again or anything from this company.

Wex, Inc. and Wex Health are the same company. The Wex Health reimbursement is the worst joke played on employees. ***** on companies that use them. Outsourced to foreign agents. Cards don't work. They don't reimburse anything. All claims are denied no matter what. It's the employees money that is contributed and they hold onto it - reimbursing nothing. They are criminals, at best. That is being nice.
