Inappropriate unprofessional I'm a female I went for an oil change I noticed they were putting the wrong oil in my truck so I told them no I run 5w30 in it and instead of just doing what I asked I get yelled at by grown men. One comes up to my window and yells at me tells me to shut the f*** up he's been listening to me for an hour I had only been there 5 minutes and all I wanted was the oil I always run 5w30 that's it nope then he yells at me that I'm a fat f****** b**** that is verbally abusive. I don't deserve to be treated less then human just because I want the 5w30 I always use. I am thinking about filing a lawsuit against them.

      Good morning,

This customer was in our Bangor store on 5/31/2023. She was asked if she wanted a regular oil change and was quoted the price before we started the service. Her vehicle calls for 5w20 on the oil cap. As we added 5w20 the customer began to yell and swear at our employees that they were dumb and that was not the oil she wanted; she always runs 5w30 in it. This information was never given to our technicians. The assistant manager went over to the customer, apologized and instructed that oil to be drained and to redo the service with the 5w30 that the customer wanted and not the 5w20 that the vehicle required for the manufacturer.

As we corrected this miscommunication at no extra cost to the customer she continued to yell and swear making employees and other customers uncomfortable. One employee did go up to her and apologize for the wait and attempt to calm her down. She was incredibly rude to him, and he swore back (as she noted in her statement). This employee was sent home for this.

At this point the oil change was complete, and the customer refused to pay. The assistant manager called his regional supervisor who instructed him to call the police, when the customer heard this, she paid. As the customer left, she spun the tires, yelled, and continue harassing the employees.

A few hours later the customer's boyfriend entered the building yelling and swearing about the original incident. He picked an employee at random and began yelling at them and pushed them. Our employee pushed back, the customer swung a punch and missed. The unnamed boyfriend was wrestled to the ground as we attempted to call the police, but he left before they arrived. Our employee sustained small scratches to his neck from the tussle and declined to press charges. This employee did not work on Miranda's vehicle.

We currently have no trespass orders on Miranda and her boyfriend. They made threats to other employees while in the building, stating that they knew where they lived. We have statements from employees and other customers that witnessed both incidents. To our knowledge the police are still looking the boyfriend. We gave the police the vehicle information we write down for the oil change including the license plate. we also gave them all the information we gathered on the boyfriend including the license plate of the vehicle he was driving.

We understand people have bad days but to disrespect everyone who is trying to help you is disgraceful. The customer had several opportunities to communicate what oil she wanted (customer sits in vehicle as we work). She became irate when we added the oil the manufacturer calls for. We made the correction at no additional cost to her, and she continued to harass our crew and then refused to pay. She then sent her boyfriend down who physically assaulted someone who did not even work on the original vehicle.

I used to get oil changed there and always had a problem with oil in my driveway from not cleaning properly.went there two weeks ago and oil has been leaking since. I went to valvoline in my neighborhood to replace the leaking bolt on oil pan and they also found oil filter loose and leaking, fortunately for me they replaced the plug and tighten the oil filter for free. Needless to say Im done with dealing with their pit crew of monkeys!!!!!
