    I bought carpet from Jim Boyd in the past, and it was fine. We moved into a new place 2 months ago. I bought three separate area rugs made from expensive carpet for the master bedroom, and they are terrible. if you try to clean a spot it leaves a discoloration in the rug. It doesnt matter what the spot is made from. Previously the carpet from Jim Boyd was always easy to clean and all spots were removed without any discoloration in the rug. I had a carpet cleaner come, and he was not able to improve the situation. I talked to Tom H******* who sold me the rugs, and he said there was nothing he could do because the manufacturer would not be responsible for carpet made into a rug. The manufacturer was only responsible for wall to wall carpet. This made no sense to me. Tom did say he would send a man out to look at the rugs, but i never heard back from him. I would like an expert to come to examine the rugs and ultimately would like them replaced if they cannot be repaired.

    Jim Boyd's Flooring in Lutherville, MD has been accredited since 2006 and has an A+ rating. We have purchased several times in the past and don't even look elsewhere given their wide product selection and professional services. Our latest project was re-carpeting an angular stairway.
