I was billed for an insurance paid portion from emergency services, and bay area attempted to collect. **** was the worker, he was insanely rude and told me he wouldn't helpe because he wanted the money. I had the client call and tell him there was nothing owes, and he told them he would write it off and follow up with me. After that he just hung up whenever I called. That was a year ago, and now I have a court summons. The client called again to tell them it was erroneous again. After they hung up on us a couple of times, we finally talked to someone. We will see how that goes. This business is unprofessional, incourteous, and dishonest.

They don't even deserve the required 1 Star- Bay Area Receivables is one of the most unprofessional and unhelpful companies I’ve ever dealt with. They erroneously placed a derogatory item on my credit report due to their own mistake—a representative even admitted that they mixed up two numbers in my Social Security Number. Despite acknowledging the error, they refused to take responsibility or provide a simple letter to resolve the issue. As a veteran who served in the United States Army, I am appalled by their lack of care and unwillingness to work with me to fix their mistake. This error has caused significant problems in my home-buying process, adding unnecessary stress and financial burdens. To make matters worse, the bills in question were supposed to be sent directly to the ******** **************, which already paid them, yet Bay Area Receivables still refuses to help. Their actions—or lack thereof—show a complete disregard for accountability and the well-being of their customers, especially veterans. I would strongly advise anyone to steer clear of this company if you value fairness, responsibility, and professionalism.

My date of service is older than 7 year old. These people are trying to collect a debt that was written off by the original doctor. This shouldn't be appearing on my report due to the fact that they fudged the dates to try to keep the collection there longer than the 7 year expiration date, longer than it should've been. I've had the same health insurance for almost 15 years. They should be monitored for honesty purposes. That's fraudulent.
