  On 09/12/2016, BBB Serving Greater MD initiated an investigation after receiving consumer reports alleging that the business required advanced payment, via Money Gram/ Western Union/ PayPal for pets advertised online, that once paid for were never delivered.
  
  Consumers also reported that after payment was made, the business referred the consumer to a pet transporting business who then requested payment for special pet carriers, pet insurance, pet quarantine fees, etc.
  
  One consumer reported that the business initially corresponded via cell phone text messaging only, due to an alleged hearing impairment, but began corresponding verbally over the phone after payment was made.
  
  Consumers who purchased pets were provided the same tracking number for two different types of animals, and were directed to two different websites to check the status shipment.
  
  Over the course of the investigation BBB determined that various photos and official, registered logos displayed on the business' website were copied from unaffiliated, legitimate businesses.
  
  The business claims to operate from the address: 3301 Brookway Ave Pikesville, MD, however BBB determined that this address is invalid.
  
  While the business claims to offer Pet transportation services, BBB determined that the Business is not properly licensed/registered as a Pet Transporter nor Pet carrier. BBB encourages consumers to verify this information by accessing the Department of Agriculture's Animal and Plant Health Inspection Services' active list of Licensees and Registrants at:

  BBB also determined that this business is not registered as a business entity with the Maryland State Department of Assessment and Taxation.
  
  BBB of MD will continue to monitor the volume and nature of consumer reports received about this business.
