    I had my baby shower at this venue on 05/21/2023. I was to have the space from 1pm - 7/7:15pm. I paid $1,610 total with an additional $500 refundable deposit. I arrived and was not greeted or addressed at all, mind you there was a group of employees that were there and visible at my event for the entire time just standing around talking, taking phone calls, dancing, completely unprofessional. The equipment that was to be used to play music was not working. Apparently, the day before, someone had taken a cord and this was not addressed prior to my event. They sent someone to get a cord from Best Buy and even then, none of the employees knew how to work it. My husband had to stop our event and set it up. For 3 HOURS into our 6 hour event we were in silence. As we opened gifts one of the employees finally addressed me and not to acknowledge or apologize for this, but instead to tell me she was glad I was enjoying the venue. She walked up on the stage in the middle of our celebration, after it had already been delayed, to tell me I was enjoying it. I was not, and I did not, because it did not stop there. They began taking the table settings and linens off of the tables, and stacking the chairs at 05:15pm, AS MY EVENT WAS STILL GOING ON. I had rented some linens from the venue but had also brought some of my own. They took my tablecloths in their haste. I stepped out to try and calm myself so that I could return, try and make the most of the time left, and not be upset. When I returned, they had cleared everyone out, locked the doors and pulled the gate down. It was 06:30pm. So, in summation, I had music for an hour, employees clearing my event before the scheduled end time, and I was locked out of the venue 45 minutes before my time. This was all done without once consulting me. Even in the follow up email I received I was told, We are so pleased that you and your guests had such a great time at your event. I have left reviews and still no resolve.

    Everything in the attached screenshot was provided. When I was alerted that there was no power cord for the wireless speakers, it took us 45 mins to replace it with a new one. During the set up time of the event, we were not aware there was no power cord because the speakers were not requested to be used yet. We provided linens for majority of the tables and set up the room, tables/chairs, as needed for the event. The client was supposed to bring 4 tablecloths to the event for use and did. We did not provide any additional decor, but the client did hire someone to set up a focal point and add centerpieces to the tables which they are allowed to do. This background is necessary because there was nothing for the Lokal Spot staff to start cleaning up if decor and food were provided by the client. When I spoke with the event space manager on site at the event, she mentioned that one of the guest and a women who had set up the tables started to remove decor from the tables and clean up earlier then the end time. As the rest of the guest started cleaning up the space, we put our table cloths and napkins to the side to not confuse them with the brought in decor. On the contract event end time was 6:00 PM and the Wrap Time, time everyone must be out of the venue, was 7:00 PM. The Lokal Spot Event Space staff didn't start cleaning up the event or tell anyone to leave. The rented couch and flower wall were also picked up at 6:30 PM. Only after everyone and everything the venue doesn't own or provide is out of the space do we lock the doors. This only leave her event ending 30 mins early and she could have stayed until 7 PM if she would have liked. We also responded to her ****** review and emailed her again once we saw her negative review to remedy the situation but never heard back. We didn't realize she was unsatisfied day of or confused about the cleaning situation, because this was not communicated to the event space manager on site the day of the event. If this would have been brought to their attention day of we would have tried to remedy it in real time.
