      Could be better if they owned when they did wrong and tried for be better. My car went to them last year for a diagnostic. I called and said what side they should focus on based on noise I heard. They recommended differential and rear struts, I did it. My car did feel like it had less power and less than a month later there was slight knock in the rear area (I thought it was because the part was used and didn't pay any mind since it normally stopped after a min of driving). A year later I go to do an inspection with them and it failed because the rear axle is bad (which was the slight knocking noise I heard before and the axle had to be moved to change the differential) and parts are missing from my parking brake which was never stated in the diagnostic. There was 1 place that looked at it before but if they did a thorough job I could've gone to that place and they would have been solely responsible and I would have a working parking brake.

      No Stars.. The Rudest and nastiest people I have ever worked with . they don't call back , they don't respond to emails. I took a older car in to get it checked to see if it were road worthy and safe. Agreed to the work they suggested assuming they checked the car over . I was very excited until i started asking questions. I came to find out they checked NOTHING . I asked for all the fluids to be changed which was done after i asked . The owner is rude. She Trashed my car saying it was junk. They said the car needed brakes and rotors when both were within md state inspection parameters . Had to get a jump when picking up the car, The battery was not even checked. My girl drove the car home and almost wrecked because a fender liner wrapped up in the tire. They never even took the time to drive the car after the work was done. This goes on and on . i decided not to take the vehicle back to them when the owner said she would check it for free. i was scared to take the car back to them for fear of what they might do next. Not an ounce of compassion at all. They will certainly not get our buis again. She even trashed the old owners who i have known my whole life. Do Not do buisness here...

      This review is not at all a reflection of the business we have worked very hard to build in this community over the past 12 years. This was not someone that just brought in an "older car." This was a car that had been sitting for a very long time that was purchased and towed in by this person, who lives in Florida. At the time, we did not know who had it towed in and we had never done business with this person before. The car was full of mud and appeared to have been in a lake prior, but we looked it over very thoroughly. Some of the work we recommended was approved by him, other work that was needed on the car was declined by him. The customer approved the work in writing. After the work was completed, this customer stated he did not approve the work we did and began complaining about everything. At that point I knew we had an issue, so I called him. During the call, I realized I actually knew him about 20 years ago. We talked for at least a 1/2 hour and all was well. I followed up with a text, answering a couple of questions he had during our phone conversation. About 3 days later, I looked back at the order and saw he had text us about 8 more times, but no one had seen the texts because they just attached to the work we had already done. He got so angry about the missed texts, he sent his girlfriend to come get the car, paying for the completed work over the phone. The car was NOT roadworthy and he was told that before she came. He emailed me after that stating she had "almost been in an accident" because a piece of the wheel well plastic was hanging down near the wheel. I responded that it was a piece of plastic that must have come loose and that if it was an issue he wanted us to address, we would do that for free and to bring it back in. However, I also told him that he didn't allow us to completely fix the car and the car still has needs before driving it. That wasn't what he wanted to hear. He wanted to not pay us anything for the work we did. He even accused us of allowing rain to get in the car through the missing rear window, even though it had been parked outside for what looked like years before even towing it to us and said he was going to sue us for damage to the interior. He even sent me an email pricing his girlfriend's labor to clean the car? When I emailed him that we were never informed the car needed to be brought inside, he contacted his credit card company and cancelled 100% of the payment he had made. He then began a full-out slander campaign against us and our business on multiple websites. We tried multiple times to work with him over the phone, through text messages and emails. Unfortunately, none of that was satisfactory to him. I would like to submit proof of all of the information I have stated here to the BBB for a more formal review of this whole transaction please.       I started coming to Crouch Automotive in December, I've never had an issue with my vehicle being taken care of. There were also things they found that I didn't know about. They took the time to explain everything to me and had the tech come out and explain things to me. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Crouch Automotive to my family and friends ! Crouch will keep my business, and I will be contacting dale for motor work ! Customer service was great
