Very bad customer service flooring is subpar. I wrote a complaint and they cancelled an inspection of my complaint . I have spent over $4000 dollars on waterproof lament flooring and it buckling ,separating and peeling .I was originally told it had a warranty of20 years and it’s only 2 years old!!

They quoted us 1895 we called to commit two weeks later and they’re telling us it’s $3000+. They never told us it was a promotional deal and I’m was told a few times when I called to commit the price was quoted at $1895. This isn’t ok.

Metro Flooring is one of the worst companies to deal with when getting new flooring put in. Little did I know that they do not have certified experienced floor technicians and that their promises to cover their products and installations lifetime warranty was just to get my business. I sadly have spent over $5,000 on a new floor that has been problematic from the start. After so many calls, and waiting I am left with a really bad floor that is splintering and cracking and lifting from the floor. I am faced with taking legal action and i would tell anyone to run from Metro Floors and go somewhere else. Make sure they are certified to install floors or dont do busibess with them at all. These people have cost me over 5 thousand dollars and they are not willing to fix the problem which they caused. They lie, give you the runaround and refuse to make the customer whole. Their customer service is horrible and they fail to return calls. They are shiesty and unreliable and dishonest.

This company is as sleezy as they come. They'll damage your house, lie, deny and leave you with nothing! Read their reviews, There's a common theme. They are experienced in screwing customers over!
Due to limited characters in writing this review, A LOT of information is being left out!
1st red flag: I qualified for financing but yet I still had to put down a deposit! I raised an eyebrow but the salesman insisted this is their policy.
Install day comes and They tear up my basement carpet. They find a few "cracks" on my concrete floor. They offered a solution: underlayment. The cost: an extra $1150. I'm aware that unforeseen conditions can arise but $1150 for 500 sq ft of underlayment is a ****.
Later, I find my laundry room has been destroyed and my access blocked! There's no furniture in my basement except for 3 wooden doll houses. Those are the only pieces of "furniture " the installers had to maneuver yet They chose to cram one of the 5ft dollhouses into my tiny laundry room! There was 500sq ft for them to move it somewhere else. They damaged my washing machine door and my family heirloom piece of furniture. I write an email to them with plenty of photos!
On Monday, they tell me they can no longer do my flooring. The manager offers to put carpet down since they tore mine up but I had someone come over who confirmed my floor is fine (cracks were superficial). Metro wouldn't accept that. I had my carpet removed for a reason. I don't want carpet!
The installers already brought the flooring into my house (i could have had free flooring if I were a scam artist myself) so I asked if they would be willing to make a deal and sell me the flooring. They offer me 10% off my TOTAL! All of a sudden my total had free installation and I was only paying the cost of flooring. What A ****! I I Know how sales and "promos" work. No one is working for free. Now I'm fighting to be refunded and I'm left with a damaged washing machine! Watch out! Metro flooring WILL screw you over!

********, want you to pay first then they refuse to complete the work.
Customer service is the worst! They don’t allow you to speak to the sales person whom you signed the contract with. They seem to be an illegitimate company. Stay away from them.

This company does not care about their customers, customer service, the finished product, or their reputation. They lied about almost everything to get the sale, breached contract day 1, installed the flooring wrong, damaged the material beyond repair, and are giving me the runaround 2 months later to get things fixed. This is by far the worst experience I’ve ever had with a contractor. The floors were installed incorrectly, they were ruined by the men who installed them (they tracked wood putty all over the luxury vinyl then wiped them all down with acetone), they look awful (due to the acetone and damage sustained during installation), and are they unsafe as they started falling apart 1-2 days after installation (one broke while I was walking on it and I fell down the stairs. I have a child in the household so thank goodness she wasn’t the one who fell).
Oh, also the guys who did the install poured a bunch of wood glue and putty down my sink, ruining that too.
I have been reaching out to Carmen (the installation manager) about all of this continuously, but she is apathetic, disinterested, and had no sense or urgency to fix these issues.

It's been about a year now and we've had Metro Flooring Contractors return about 6 times. They can never seem to install/fix the floor completely. There is always a place that isn't cut evenly or doesn't lay flat. At one point, a few months after the original install a piece of the floor completely pulled up and broke off. After a man came to fix it, it happened again, within a week or two. When that repair man came out, he lied to their management. A manager called and told me off, stating the floor was wet and something we were doing was causing the problem. The floor wasn't wet. It wasn't in an area where any water or wetness could get to it; and we weren't doing anything. We just let the floor lie there. It's a floor!! Even if it had gotten wet, at some time--It's a Kitchen floor!! If the product can't get wet, it should not be installed in a kitchen or bathroom. (Or anywhere else, really).
Even though there is still a piece of the floor that doesn't lie flat, and pieces cut badly, not flush with the wall, we will not call Metro for any further repairs. Using Metro was a huge waste of money and time. Don't do it!!

Horrible company to do business with. Installed wrong material the first time. Had to come back. Sub standard material that started to separate not long after installation. Cheap two piece step trades started to separate. As usual they tried to blame it on the wood on the steps. Then they want to offer 1 piece step tread option if we pay for the job over again. Save yourself some time and money and go with a reputable company that is BBB accredited!

Overall satisfied mostly with the work with the exception of messing up some of the base boards during installation and didnt bother fixing them. Not too concerned about that because my husband can fix them. My biggest complaint is in regards to the timeliness of completing the job. The steps could.not be completed on the 1st day because there was not enough material. We were told they would be finished the next day. No one bothered to call us the next day or let us know when /if someone would be coming. After a few days, my husband called them and he was told they needed to order more material and we were given an estimate of a few more days. Then after a few more days pass, I called them and was told the order would be coming in on Friday and so they could come on Saturday to install. A team came on Saturday but was unable to install because the material was the wrong material. Then we were told that the supplier sent the wrong material and it wasn't their fault. Flash forward 2 weeks later they finally finished the job. It took over a month to get the job completed when we were told it was a 1 day job.

Poor quality flooring and after 6 months my floors started puckering and the company told me I have to pay to have it fixed. I said no and now they are ignoring me. So I'm left to file a Small Claims against them.
