  Spay Now charged me for shaving my cat and did a botched procedure. When i got my cat home and removed her from the cage she was unevenly shaved all over and she looked like it was a rush job. I immediately contacted the clinic, but they were closed for the day, so I had to wait until Monday. When i called that day i was immediately dismissed and told to email my complaint to them instead, no solution was offered at that time. When i emailed them and included photos of my cat I did not receive a response so I emailed again and told them if I didn't receive a response or solution I would file a complaint. They responded by telling me that my cat was dirty, that they were not a grooming service and that my cat and i were no longer welcome at their clinic. They also accused me of threatening them because I told them I would file a complaint if I didn't get a response from them for the service I paid for. It is gross discrimination to tell a customer they are "threatening" for having a complaint about services they rendered and I have the email I sent with all of this correspondence. For the past few months I had been taking care of my sick mother and both of my grandchildren for Summer break, so I had to delay bringing my cat to get shaved until I had the money. This is why she was matted and ungroomed, which had nothing to do with the botched work they did. I spoke with Joy Lewis and she was disgustingly unprofessional about the situation. When a customer pays for a service and has a complaint, retaliatory actions should never be acceptable.

  Dr. Joy L**** and Courtney handed me my dog dying wrapped in a pee pad locked the door and went home to live their lives.
  My beloved Buddy went in for surgery to remove a foreign object. I dropped him off at 1:00 and was told to pick him up at 3:30. I NEVER received a phone call from Dr. Joy L**** letting me know how the surgery went. The only phone called I received was from Courtney letting me know I would be charged $50 fee if I did not pick up Buddy by 3:30.
  I asked Courtney when I came into Spay Now how the surgery went, she said the Vet has left for the day & I said what was the blockage she handed me a sandwich bag of its contents without saying anything. She handed me Buddy wrapped in a pee pad I asked what this was for Courtney said it's from his sutures. I said hmm okay his eyes were gray I said he doesn't look well. Courtney goes it's from the sedation,
  I took Buddy to my car and on my pants leg is this brownish reddish drainage. Courtney said it was drainage from the sutures. There was no Vet what was I supposed to do. I left and was on my way home a 30 minute drive. 10 minutes on the road home Buddy starts choking and gasping for air a horrible smell in the car. I'm on the hwy can't pull over. I notice him not breathing I'm crying hysterically, I pull over in Crownsville and attempt to do CPR, I shake him their is no response from him. Frantically thinking what to do I call Annapolis Emergency care where he was diagnosed with the blockage they said bring him in. Annapolis Emergency took him back right away. They got a heartbeat but said he was without oxygen for so long he was brain dead. I had to make the decision to put him down.
  I lost Buddy twice once in the car and in the Annapolis office. The pain that I witnessed my dog go through is unbearable. I don't want to hear Spay Now tell me he died from complications of cushions disease because he didn't have it. . Dr Joy L**** with her years of experience knows that he was dying handed me a dying dog
