    Not a Good company I am a HOA member of Metropolis and I have been having the same issues as one of the customers stated below . I did not receive my coupon booklet in 2020 and I did not make a payment because Covid and everything was going on , finally I contacted them and I started paying and each time I pay my bill was not getting smaller , I have contacted them through emails calling and speaking to Ms ******** ******* through emails,Juvial and other staff member who works in there business office sending out statements and will not give an answer , Ms ******** got her position changed, she would do research and find my bill , but after she leaves everything went backwards . it has gotten to the point where I would pay every three months when I pay my HOA fees , I even send them notes about my payments along with my checks . I Called desperately asking to. Speak to a manager for help and. I have. Never spoken to a supervisor or manager , but my Bill for Less than four hundred dollars was sent to a collection agency and got Doubled for what I owe. I wrote emails asking for help in understanding and asking for payment plans and not one staff member try to assist me . And at this moment I have a **** from a collection agency and they told me they are going to put a lien against my property if I do not pay this bill . I am not running away from paying my HOA fees , but this is a very big bill and I have been trying to get the fees Lower and they told me they cannot lower the fees , I called to the law firm and they told me they cannot lower the fees because its my obligation to pay my HOA . Some of the workers who works for peoples company are very rude and bring peoples business down a lot of times and do not care about customer service.

Please note that once an account is referred to legal counsel, we discontinue correspondence with the owner regarding that account for legal reasons. The owner should instead contact legal counsel throughout their management of the account. We further note that instructions were included in the lien notice issued to you by legal counsel for how to both resolve and dispute your debt. Given the above, it is our position that this review does not represent any past or present negligence on our part.

    Their accounting team is entirely incompetent. They made an accounting error on my account back in 2021 that resulted in a nearly -$400 balance on my account. Despite showing them their error and receiving the correction in writing on multiple occasions, it never quite gets entered into their system, resulting in them circling back every 6 months or so. Each time it's the same song and dance to show the latest person on their accounting team their mistake. They even threatened collections at one point in ******* condo's property management group has now shifted to another company (understandably), but Metropolis transferred the imaginary debt over to them. They will not speak over the phone and refuse to address any of my emails, only replying with an incorrect PDF and telling me to speak with my new management company. The latest folks on their accounting team, ******** *********, and *******, refuse to speak over the phone and will only reply with an email every 3 or so business days. I have spent dozens of hours over the past 3 years dealing with this same issue and the level of indifference they show is truly unbelievable. I'm sure this can't be an isolated situation. This business should not be allowed to operate.

    Company fails to send out increases in HOA fees until after the fact. The company will later send out form letter to inform of exorbitant fine and late fees. If customer refuse to pay, ********************** send out dispute to lawyers to charge even more to the owner.

    My son was parking to go to the gym did not realize they were charging. Now I am receiving 4 tickets 90 each for parking. 260.00 is almost what he makes. This is too much charges for a parking spot.

    They do not provide correct information for different sections of their company for example they did not update an architectural change request form even when the company has been managing the company for two years in Olney, MD.

    We assume this review was left in regard to an architectural change request you made in spring 2023.  We provided the Association's standard form, which contained the prior managing agent's contact information.  Additionally, our records show that your request was approved by the Board within several days regardless of this minor oversight.  As such, we do not believe this event warrants a 1-star BBB review.
