I had been a patient at the dental practice for over a year under the care of Dr. ******************************. I had agreed to have dental partials to correct an issue. On February 13 2023, I paid a deposit of $598.00 towards the work to be done. I was told it would take two - three weeks for the items to come in. At the end of March they were not in. April passed by, as did May. No news of the items being in. By end of June , early July, I tried contacting the office for my 6 month check up. No response. I called several times between July and September; for several weeks the mail box was full and no longer receiving voicemails. In September I received an obscure text message that the practice was working on getting aligned with my insurer. I called after not hearing back after a while; again no response. Another obscure text message about working out things. To top it off, when I checked the EOB statement from my insurer again, there had been claims submitted for things that did not happen, as I reported before. As you will see in the attached receipt, there is no explanation of the $598 charge, no backup document indicating what the charge was for, the vendor, etc. I have gone to the office a couple of times and it was closed although the signage indicated that I had visited during office hours. The dentist whose care I was under seems to have disappeared as I cannot find her in online searches; I was online with the insurer as we looked through the provider network and saw that she was supposed to be a couple of places but they never heard of her. As a retiree and senior citizen, the almost six hundred dollars is a lot of money to lose to a scam or whatever this is. I am at a loss as to how to further proceed.

The Dentist at Greenbelt Family Dental Group Performed dental procedures for the crown on tooth #20. He also did a Bridge procedure on teeth #**, #**, & #** on June 10th, 2022. These are the breakdown and are based on the payment I made to the dentist according to the computation data sent by his office manager, Sandra, who operated in a remote location outside the United States. 3 Unit Bridge Th #** to ** = $747.00 x 3 = $2241.00. Tooth #** Crown = $747.00. TOTAL COST = $2988.00 Payment made by you so far: 3 Unit Bridge Th #** to ** = $1000.0 Th #20 Crown = $$117 + $162. + $21 + $100 = $400.00 Th #** Crown = $0.00; Th #** Crown = $0.00. TOTAL PAYMENT MADE SO FAR = $1,400.00. I'm seeking reimbursement for every money I paid out-of-my-pocket from this dentist so that I can redo the treatment in the other dental clinic.
