      STAY FAR AWAY!!! Rude and terrible customer service, let me know less than an hour prior that he was canceling an appt when I took off work for it. He sounded drunk and like he smokes a pack of cigarettes a day. He said he lived in PA so it should've taken more than an hour to get there. Makes me think he woke up late. He doesn't work weekends and tried to charge me an "extra $100 because they come all the way from PA" and then cancelled less than an hour before when I took off work once we finally could get on his schedule- looked up the business and it says it is in Linthicum, I guess he's a liar or a scammer. Called me profane names.

      I have a ventilation attic fan that stopped working a few months ago. I filed a claim with my home warranty company to have it repaired or replaced. A technician from the electrical company Bill Gilde Incorporated came out to the property took a look at it and said that it needed a new thermostat, which they had to order a new one. He said he would reach out to me once it was in. I waited a few days and no response from said company. I called them back and he said that it would be in the next day and he was at the doctor's office and would call me when he was finished there. I waited to hear from them and nothing for a few more days. I received a phone call from an un kown number which I do not usually answer. Then, I called on Friday and he said he tried calling me and said that it had arrived and that he could come out either Wednesday or Thursday of this week. I confirmed on Wednesday first thing in the morning. I waited all morning and no show. I looked at my account profile and service requests and clearly stated Wednesday from 7to 9am that he would be there. I called him around 11:30 and asked why he had not shown up. I had been wasting my whole morning waiting for him. He stated that we had confirmed for Thursday. I told him no and that it even showed on my service requests Wednesday from 7to 9am. He said that I was wrong and that I was an a**hole for not answering his call. I was shocked by his rudeness and unprofessionalism. I had been given the run around too much with this technician and total lack of respect towards his customer that I decided that I did not want his service and I would cancel the claim. He said fine and go f**k yourself. Please whoever is reading this review, do not, I repeat do not use Bill Gilde Electrical Services for any home repairs. I hope this helps and allows them to change their business practices for the future.
