    On July 31, 2024 my wife and I drove from Waynesboro PA to Funkstown MD for a 3:30 initial consultation with Allen ****** at his 36 W Baltimore St. location. This visit was set up well in advance. Upon arrival, we found the location locked up. When I tried to call and text Mr. ****** as to where he was, I received no reply over a period of 20 minutes. In an attempt to find Mr. ******, I contacted his tenant (upstairs) and she tried to reach him as well with the same result. My wife suffers from ****** *******. That was the reason she was going to start seeing him as a patient. In 94 degree heat, on his front porch, my wife started to have a panic attack. I got her back into the car and drove home. Approximate 15-20 minutes later, Mr. ****** texted me and said that "I apologize, I quickly fell very ill this afternoon and am presently in bed. Considering this reaction from you, I do not think I'm the right match for you and your wife. If you do not know any other providers, I would be glad to send you contact info about some in the this area." Unacceptable. A true professional would have reached out (or had an assistant reach out) to save us the drive and rescheduled. I would warn anyone out there about his lack of professionalism and coldness toward a woman who really needs help. ***** *******
