    Elkton, MD Office - Horrible experience and unethical business practices. I go for my yearly eye exam and tell them i have eye insurance. For some reason, it goes on deaf ears (Sarah or Rachael) and they bill your medical insurance. They ask if you want to pay $60 for a refraction whatever that is - let’s call it what it is A PRESCRIPTION!! I have eye insurance so there’s no way I should be paying anything. Right then and there someone should have explained this. The way it came across was as if she was asking me to pay $60 that day to go order glasses. A few weeks later I go in to order glasses and told I refused my refraction - again let’s call it a prescription or explain to the patient. After going to the receptionist (Sarah or Rachael) to schedule an appointment and ask to explain this unethical policy she was rude, condescending and refused to schedule my appointment or give me my prescription. This feels a little like insurance fraud and refusal of what’s medically rightfully mine. BEWARE if you have eye insurance because they don’t care nor will they bill it. Instead they try to get $60 from you plus charge your medical insurance.
