PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS GUY who calls himself Kevin [R***]! and company, Angie’s Pest & Wildlife Control is a scam. After searching online pest control service to remove a bird(s) inside my kitchen exhaust fan duct, I received a text from him claiming that he could come out to fix the issue. I asked, “Do you except credit cards?” He said yes. Three days later he arrived. I welcomed him in showed him the issue with the bird inside the duct. I walked him to the rear of the house to show where the bird(s) enters through the duct vent. Then went back inside to go over the procedure to force the bird(s) out of the ductwork by spraying a chemical agent into the range downdraft exhaust fan leading to the nest. He said it would take 2-days to complete. After spraying the exhaust, he asked for a payment of $240 via ****App. He claimed that credit cards were too difficult and they charge 3% to process the money. Initially he said that he would take credit payments. I tried creating an account via ****App. However, it would not except my credit card transactions. So, I asked my wife’s assistance with the payment through her payment app. Kevin sent her a ****App request of $240. My wife’s antennas immediately went up about this situation, but hesitantly agreed to send money to Kevin’s account named “Kevin R***” “*************”. After Kevin got the money, he wanted me to keep the exhaust fan running for an hour to allow the chemical to force the bird(s) out. Then he said he’ll return the next day at the same time to remove the debris of nest from the duct. He didn’t want to harm the birds due to animal rights protection. Next day he did not show up!!! I waited an hour then texted him asking if he was still coming out. There was not response. I even called several times which went to his voicemail. I realized at this point I was scammed. I regret not considering my gut feelings about this situation! I reported him to the Federal Trade Commission for fraudulent activity.
