In May 2015 we purchased three (3) replacement sets of patio (terrace) doors and one sliding balcony door for our 8th floor condominium. HiRISE was the sole source provider authorized by our HOA. We purchased three (3) sets of ********************** Systems (NAS) 7600 doors and one (1) set of Sunview 1200 sliding doors. In May 2023 the three sets of our heavy-duty NAS ***************************************************************************************** order to submit a claim to our insurance company we contracted HiRISE to perform a follow-up inspection to determine if the doors had been damaged and whether they were still under warranty. We paid HiRISE $399 for this. The professional services rendered were woefully inadequate as the inspection was flawed as well as the report it generated. The report incorrectly identified our doors and misled us as to the terms of the warranty, indicating the damaged doors were Sunview 1200s and not NAS 7600s. I consider it highly unethical and unprofessional of HiRISE to collect $399 for an unusable inspection report that is inaccurate, contains glaring factual errors, and misidentifies the doors HiRISE installed. When I called this to HiRISE's attention and requested a full refund, they declined. Instead - almost a year after the initial inspection and report - they sent a corrected report with 1-sentence apology from their Administrative Assistant. Neither the HiRISE inspector nor the company President (whom I suspect is related to the inspector) have deemed it appropriate to communicate with me. Exercise caution when accepting any service or products from HiRISE as their quality control measures are lax.

HiRISE did apologize for the product manufacturer and model typo in the report. We used two manufacturers as there are two door types for this building but placed the wrong manufacturer in the report. We are sensitive to your concern but we immediately resolved it when it was called to our attention. We also spent a good deal of time working on the inspection and subsequent report, which we stand behind. We wish you good luck with your further building inquiry.
