I purchased a tiller at an online auction with Caring Transitions. The winning bid was $92+18% fee+tax. I am 67 years old, and and I picked up the tiller on a dreary Saturday, from a dark shed, covered by trees. When I brought the tiller home, my son noticed a hole in the carburetor. It was on top of the machine. I immediately notified Caring Transitions. Their response was the description said “it was untested.” I replied “all the pictures displayed the tiller was in good shape. Why did Caring Transitions neglect to show a picture of the hole that was blatantly obvious? “. I was also told, it was my fault for not inspecting it at the pickup location. As mentioned earlier, the tiller was in a dark shed that was covered by trees. I am out $140 plus and stuck with a machine that does not work. I believe Caring Transitions misrepresented the item, just to make a buck! They have no morals, or accountability. Caring Transitions, does not CARE!!!! Buyer beware.
