    After an 11-year relationship with the company Fountain Craft, also known as Mid Atlantic Fountain Design, on August 31, 2020 they destroyed our fountain while trying to descale lights in an upper fountain bowl. It was toppled, and we had to initiate a lawsuit to try to get them to accept responsibility. During the court trial they submitted a defense that our fountain wasn't worth anything and they basically had been taking our money over 11 years. Annual maintenance cost consisting of start-up/shut-down service as well as 6 monthly services costed $1,750 during the fountain operating season. We had annual maintenance agreements with them. Annually charged from $1,500 to over $3,000 to do repairs at start-up of the season. Not at any time while taking our money did, they say we were paying for a worthless fountain, they only did that once sued for destroying it.
