      I placed my first order with GoodGoth on April 24, 2024 and received an email that they had contacted PayPal to reserve the payment, but wouldnt actually charge me until the order was shipped. Shipment, per their website, is within 5 - 9 days from when the order was placed, so roughly between April 29 - May 3 is when my order would be shipped.On May 3, after seeing the PayPal funds were not released and there was still no shipping details, I tried reaching GoodGoth directly. Their phone number was disconnected and there is no alternative number on their website.I then submitted a request to GoodGoth, using their online form, to discuss my concerns. I received a confirmation email that my ticket had been opened, but felt the response looked a bit scammy (grammatical errors). They never responded to my request.After another week of waiting for a response I decided to cancel my order; however, I am unable to cancel my order because I cant reach anyone at GoodGoth and the financial transaction has not yet gone through. Sadly, because GoodGoth has my funds reserved until my order is shipped, Im in limbo until either 1) GoodGoth ships my order and removes the funds they reserved, or 2) its been 30 days from the date of hold before PayPal will release the money back into my account.If the funds are removed by GoodGoth, because they said they shipped my items, but no shipment is ever made, then I have to take steps to file a fraudulent claim to try to recover my funds.This is a horrible business model and the situation is not indicative of good business practices. I feel GoodGoth is not a reputable business and is a scammer.
