After the dentist office and building had a winter freeze in 2023 during January causing serious flood damage, this dentist has been absent to respond in any way to my numerous phone calls. He left me with a half incomplete top front side tooth being unfinished for root canal and crown process. I simply need his call returned to me for advice on my records to be accessed so that another dentist can at least do a six month cleaning and provide interim advice for this unfinished dental work. His one message at least two weeks or more ago stated that his girl who was being paid to take the patient calls had not been doing her job. That is the last heard from him. I cannot get anyone to call me and explain any details about the renovations taking place for the past nine or so months. At this time my next action is likely to file complaints to the appropriate agencies to report this negligent and unprofessional business. I have had previous concerns with this family dentist for various reasons but tried to accept that my options were limited. I am at **** end and my family and friends agree it is time to file my complaints to the necessary parties for help. This dentist is not calling or having anyone return my many calls. Shame on him and his hired staff. And no one gives any time frame of how long this flood damage repair is expected to go on. Awful way to show doctor and patient respect. Absolutely inexcusable.

For health privacy reasons, we are unable to comment on the details of the patient's services, treatments, and referrals. The patient was seen by Dr. ********************** in June 2023; the patient's dental work was stable. Dr. ********************** retrieved a message from our system this past week, which included details from the patient that she was not going to be available, Dr. ********************** had planned to return her call at a later date due to the nature of the message left by the patient. Dr. ********************** called the patient and left a voicemail on 10/16/23. Later that afternoon, the patient called Dr. ********************** on his personal cell and he spoke with the patient for 1.5 hours. During the call, she shared her frustration with calling and not having calls returned, that she had limited choices because of her insurance, and that she wanted to know when the practice was to re-open. Dr.. ********************** explained as best as he could, apologized, and offered to text her every few weeks with an update on the status of the practice. The dental practice continues to be closed due to the damage as a result of our February Freeze. Patients requesting urgent care have been referred to another local dental practice who also accepts **********. Any request for patient records have been electronically sent to the respective providers as requested. Our insurance company has delayed payments for repairs and replacement of equipment; the building continues to have no heat, no running water, is only about 50% repaired, and has no dental equipment or supplies.

Dr.Ostromecky performed 5 root canals on me since 2021. All of them failed by 2023. The dentist I'm going to now says they were not complete and he did not use the proper tools which resulted in reinfection. He is refusing to take any responsibility. He is now lying about my behavior in the office and refusing to give me my medical/dental records. I now have to pay almost $10,000 out of pocket. This is a nightmare and one of the worst experiences of my life. If I could give him negative stars, I would.
