    I wish there were an option for negative stars. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I purchased a new generator from this company in late March of 2024. After having it for a few weeks I decided to start it up (a monthly start-up helps keep the seals from drying out and prevents other problems). I was surprised to find that the generator would not start. The battery seemed to be dead (or else the piston was frozen and couldn't budge). I couldn't imagine that they would sell m e a new generator, ready to run, with a dead battery. I called T.K. Lyden and they sent a tech out who said the thing was flooded and all I had to do was charge the battery overnight. I did so, and the next day, it still would not start. They sent a tech out again and he determined that the battery was defective. He went to his truck and got a replacement battery and the generator started right up. Then, they had the nerve to bill me $244.87 for the new battery and the tech who came to replace it. After many difficult phone calls and much anxiety dealing with this company, I finally buckled and paid the invoice just to be done with them. I did let them know that I would be giving them bad reviews. In response, the owner of the company, upon learning that I was a member of the clergy sent me this in an email: ". . . . I see one bad review and I will reach out to all the pastors in our church to make sure you are not in service any longer." I think that pretty much says it all in terms of who you would be dealing with in this company.Rev. *************************
