    Terrible company. I told them I would be reporting them here. As of writing this, they have a code for their lord of the rings game on Amazon. Its for the ************** starter pack. However, they no longer accept this code in their store. Meaning you waste your money and cant get it back because Amazon does mot refund digital purchases. Their customer support basically brushed my issue off and said yeah talk to Amazon instead of doing something like offering me points for their shop in return. Keep in mind I sent proof of purchase to them as well. I will be uninstalling their game and not giving another cent to them. Terrible business and terrible customer support. Take these reviews seriously and stay away from them.

    There is no customer support, can take up to 6 months to get an answer on a support ticket. Standing Stone Games refuses to implement two factor authentication. The results are many accounts, including mine being hacked. They state that security is the customer's responsibility, not theirs. They have no interest in customer support or security for accounts. If you want to play any of their games, Lord of the Rings Online or Dungeons and Dragons Online, change your password frequently.

    Abysmal company. I paid $199 in 2007 for a LIFETIME SUBSCRIPTION to the game.I have not logged in for a few years. I believe 2019 or 2020 was the last time. The new updates intrigued me, so I reinstalled the game.I could not remember my password, so I used the form to reset my password. I never received the email. I tried again 3 more tines over the next few days to reset the password with no emails received.After that I contacted support. I gave them all the information they requested. I still use the same email ftom 2007. I provided them with the names of several characters on the account. I still have my original game box from when I bought the game and provided the CD key, as well as taking a picture of it for them. The only information I could not provide was the credit card used to purchase the lifetime account. Since I bought it in 2007 and do not have that card any more.All of that should have been more than enough to get me back into the account I paid for.They told me they couldn't help me.This company is a SCAM. Stay away from all their products.

    I have played this company's game for six years, the entire time they managed my game. Proof is in the pudding. Dealing with this company for six years gifted me with six years of happiness.

    Abominable customer service and forum censorship is running rampant.I have been a customer since 2007, and was permanently banned for making a thread addressing SSG deleting comments about the controversial **** Update.My appeal was smugly denied, and I was left with no other means to contact the company.Standing Stone Games cares more about their ESG score than their product.Do not give them your business.

    I purchased a lifetime subscription and for many years had no problem with their predecessors. This past year they permabanned my lifetime subscription and offered no appeal. Their conduct went far beyond the End User Agreement and they targeted my new free to play accounts before allowing me to play as a VIP. In short, they were only interested in taking away my lifetime account, and did not care about alleged infractions of the End User Agreement. They are abusive when they target a player that they do not like. I play, but I would never pay money for the game again beyond VIP. This led to actual PTSD symptoms for me. They won't talk to me and do not care.
