There are many contractors who can build you a deck. For anyone considering ********************* (or K and M Enterprise), my strong recommendation is to find someone else. I have had to revert to small claims court to try to recoup several thousand dollars paid in advance for supplies that were never delivered. I made the difficult decision to fire ************** after several bad faith actions on his part: 1. A surprise extra charge for materials nearly a month after we signed the contract, 2. Building framing for the wrong size deck (before I stopped him) which I later had to undo, 3. Refusing to continue to work unless I paid 90% of total project charges (I had already paid 74% and the job was about 50% done), and 4. Never delivering the supplies that I had already paid him for. Predictably, as soon as I fired him, ************** decided he was going to keep my money and my supplies (if he ever bought them). Still, I am glad I fired him.I could go on, but the short story is that there are plenty of other builders out there who do NOT have a ************* claim filed against their registration in the ************* ****** of ******** Affairs (like ************** does. See here: *************************************************************************). Wish I had seen that earlier - I would have picked someone else. While a big chunk of my project budget sits in ****************** bank account unearned, I haven't been able to hire anyone else and have had to build the deck myself (which turned out to be a pleasant experience, I'm happy to say).I hope this candid review helps you avoid my troubles. A building project can be a stressful experience, even with the right builder. No need to add extra stress when it can be avoided. Look elsewhere and good luck with your project!

What really happened is materials were paid for frame was delivered and built. Customer owed on the second payment and shorted the company. Company made every attempt to resolve the shortage. Customer changed the width of the project to make it larger. ***** company made every attempt to resolve the difference. Customer didn't want to pay the extra. At this point the trust was broken. Customer had no intention of paying for the work being preformed.
