I already have a subscription of TV Guide which I obtained directly from TV Guide. My subscription is up to date and has more than a year to go before I have to renew it. Randomly, one day I received in the mail an invouce from Northshore Publshing, for a renewal to my TV Guide subscription. They invoiced me for 6 payments of $42 for a two year renewal, a total of $252. The subscription I have directly through TV Guide costs $60 for a two year subscription. Stay away from Northshore Publishing. They are not connected with the magazines you are subscribed to. They overcharge for subscription renewals. What they do is probably legal, but it **** sure isn't ethical.

This company started to withdraw $39.41 out of my checking acct. starting in January, **** and then again in February the same. $39.41. I went to the bank to try and see where this money was going to. The answer. Northshore Publishing. They are doing this without my authorization. I don't even know how they got access to my checking account. Most likely, illegally. The bank charged me a stop payment charge, for what reason, I don't even know. The money was already electronically withdrawn. To assure this withdrawal doesn't continue, I had to close out both my checking and savings account, since they are linked. Which both, have minimal balances. And this was an inconvenience to me. I'm a 79 year old widow, with a small monthly social security that I am just getting by on. Seems this company is stealing from the elderly. I have called their customer ********************** number, numerous times and have never had anyone pickup my call to talk to them. Sometimes, the phone just goes dead on me. This company seems to operating illegally. They should be ashamed of themselves. They need to be held accountable for their wrong doing and reimburse those, that they have scammed money from. Something needs to happen, to put a stop to this wrong doing. I am beyond upset over this matter.

My mother received a phone call on 7/19/2022. She is 90 and felt like she was fast talked into a subscription for TV guide. Ive tried numerous times to call the 888 number. Nobody ever answers and once in awhile goes to voice mail thats says full. Terrible service. Sell something to take advantage of the elderly then dont answer. Probably because everybody wants to get it canceled. She did make the mistake of giving them her debit card so they charged her the first of 3 payments of $39.41. Im going to call the bank to put a stop payment since they dont bother to pick up. Per the complaints this seems pretty standard procedure.

I feel as though I've been scammed by North Shore Publishers. The person calling me said they were representing TV Guide. Representative from TV Guide told me they don't do business with North Shore Publishers. I've been calling them for a week now to cancel my payments and nobody answers the phone number they gave me. I called my credit card company, and they are treating them as scammers. I don't know how I can get a refund. Please help me.***************************
