    This business doesn't deserve an A+ rating and if it was possible to give it minus stars I would. We called to have them fix a problem we were having with our Generac generator. We were told that there would be a $75 service charge fee. When the tech arrived he was able to diagnos the issue immediately and replaced the starter. He was here a total of 40 minutes and when he left he told my husband that he didn't know what the cost of the starter was and that he would send us a bill. We waited nearly a month to get the bill. When we received the bill it was suspicous because we were billed for 2 hours and the cost of the starter was omitted from the final total. We mailed our payment and a week later we received a revised bill that now included the price of the starter and still listed 2 hours of labor. My husband phoned the owner this morning and he immediately stated that we were billed $75 for the service call and that 2 hours that was listed on the invoice included the tech's travel time from the home office in E. Longmeadow to our house in Granby and return trip back to E. Longmeadow which amounted to 2 hours. Never have I ever heard of or been billed for travel time and my husband informed the owner that we wouldn't pay the remaining balance unless he removed the additional hour from our bill. He also told him that we would be contacting the BBB and that we would never do business with him again. This is highway robbery and we wouldn't recommend anyone using this electric company for anything.
