Some months ago, Dry Zone came to install a sump pump. I had previously meet with company rep ******************** we discussed the location of the outfall pipe from the basement, either to the front or back of our home. ********* had indicated that the choice was mine, although he had some reservations about the front yard location. I signed his contract. When the team arrived, and demolition started. The head installer indicated that they would be doing the installation in the back yard. The front yard was no longer an option without an additional fee, and even then it was problematic. It was lo clear that any reconstruction from the written agreement was my responsibility. That is, when the internal wall was removed, or the ceiling was affected by protective covering, Dry Zone had no responsibility. As the preparation continued, the attitude was demonstrably frustrated with my questions, making audible and facial expressions that indicated his superiority. All of sudden, in the middle of the discussion, a worker, Chip maybe, erupted with an outburst. He was disgusted with MY attitude and questions and would not work on the sitem pick up his tools and left. The crew left. I called the company office and asked to speak to the owner. He was not available. The installation supervisor finally called and indicated that the next possible crew would not be available for 6 weeks, after forecasted storms threatened additional flooding of the basement. He also indicated he would come to our home and replace the work that the crew had removed. He NEVEr showed up, no call

August of 2023 we were scheduled to do a job with ***. When the contract was devised, it was with the discharge going through the front of the house based off the inspectors judgement and obstacles, which *** signed off on. Our team arrived prepared to do the work based off the paperwork and advised that the discharge going out the front was not the best solution, agreeing with our inspector's judgement. During the install process and discussions with ***, our team started to feel unsafe in the customer's home as he was getting very aggressive and yelling at our *******. They made the judgement that their personal safety was at risk and left the job. Our team made no promises or indications that we would return and issued *** a full refund of the deposit for the project.

So their response has a lot more to day about the company. The crew felt threatened and walked off the job? So 3 men able to do heavy excavation work with tool in hand are intimidated by me? Afraid for some physical injury from a 76 year old man with a bad back? Yes I was angry and may have raised my voice but the team leader APOLGIZED for this guy. ****** the responder got it all wrong. If I was so threatening, why would they offer to reschedule the job and with another apology from the installation supervisor. Good luck if after reading some of these comments you decide to hire this company but don't raise your voice or question the difference in increased pricing!!!

Dryzone failed to install the system correctly. The pipes were pitched away from the sump on over half the system. The pipes from the pump to the outside leaked back into the basement, and the outlet wasn't dug to grade so water backed up along the pipe towards the house. When I notified them, they sent a tech out who confirmed all my issues. Then the company stated that they wanted a second opinion instead of fixing the issues! I filed a charge back, and the General Manager lied on the chargeback, and offered nothing but a boilerplate apology and made no attempt to make things right. After MONTHS of dealing with the company, they finally settled for a partial refund.

We take feedback from customers seriously, including in this case. ****** was disappointed with the quality of our work and we responded to him, though not in the timeframe he expected. He made a personal decision to move in a different direction with the project. We wish we had the opportunity to work with ****** and solve this problem for him.

Doesn't honor warranty. Blames customers for everything they do wrong. Absolutely zero support after install. Crawlspace was so poorly sealed that there were multiple gaps in the new over priced plastic they put in and was falling down from the walls. After a year of fighting someone finally came to "prove me wrong" and that it was just my not understanding the product. Then when hey pulled on the wall and fell over because it pulled several feet away he admitted that it wasn't correct and fixed that one problem, but not any of the numerous other holes that allow water to pool up on the plastic (defeating the purpose) and a nothing about the cheap white tape they used to seal edges that allow faster water flow than any faucets in my house. Gave up and regret not suing the company for ripping me off.Got another crawlspace done from another contactor (Was going to have DryZone do both, but wanted to see how one went first given the extreme cost). The second crawlspace as absolutely none of the problems at less than half the price. Run, don't walk, away from this company and all of their over priced, low quality products.

We are very sorry for all the frustrations that this installation has caused. We have been in contact with the customer and have a scheduled appointment with our team to go to the crawlspace to come up with a solution.
